Finally, under siege by dozens of monsters, Hader and his team could hold on no longer.
They could only retreat into the home of one of the residents, using the narrow door frame and a multitude of furniture to block the monsters outside.
"Damn it, there are just too many of them, we simply can't hold them off! Thermal imaging can't detect these monsters either, could they all be zombies?"
Hader clenched his automatic rifle tightly, his gaze focused toward the direction of the door, his eyes filled with fear and hatred.
In just this short span of ten minutes, of the nine members of his Fifth Squad, five had already died, leaving only four people remaining in the room.

A sudden sound of static crackled in their ears.
"Hader, I've finally reached you! How are things on your end?"
The speaker was Jonathan, a close partner of Lune, the director of the Hurricane Bureau.
