Chapter 509 - Chapter 509: The Birth of a New World

Upon hearing Lin Qian's words, everyone present couldn't help but smile. His intentions were clear—he planned to take action against Yuheng Jiang Kingdom.

The implication that the empire would soon gain a hundred new provinces indicated a plan to destroy Yuheng Jiang Kingdom entirely.

"For now, let's set aside the matter of Yuheng Jiang Kingdom. It's nothing more than a minor nuisance," Lin Qian said, the murderous intent on his face disappearing, replaced by a serious expression. "I'm sure you've all noticed some unfamiliar faces among us. They are from the underground world of the Ancient Spirit Continent."

"They belong to the Blackhorn Clan, known for their soul power; the Redhorn Clan, experts in body refinement; the Dwarves, skilled in craftsmanship; and the Lingti Clan, renowned for their endurance."

"I want to make it clear to all citizens of the Huaxia Empire that regardless of your race, strength, gender, or age, you are all citizens of the Huaxia Empire. You are all Huaxia people!"

"I do not want to see any discrimination among us. Instead, we should help each other to make the Huaxia Empire even stronger. In fact, only through unity can we achieve a better future."

All the citizens of the Huaxia Empire were attentively watching Lin Qian on the Soul Vision Machines, carefully listening to his words and nodding in agreement.

In truth, the integration of other races into the Huaxia Empire was more of a novelty than a cause for concern.

The Huaxia Empire had brought them an unimaginably good life, so what did it matter if other races were included?

"To ensure an even more comfortable life for Huaxia people and to promote interaction among all citizens, reducing the hardships of long-distance travel, I am announcing a major initiative today. The Huaxia Empire will establish the Huaxia Empire Aviation Hall, the Huaxia Empire Railway Hall, the Huaxia Empire Highway Hall, and the Huaxia Empire Waterway Hall, all under the jurisdiction of the Huaxia Empire Ministry of Transportation."

Lin Qian's tone grew more serious as he continued, "When travel is no longer a burden or obstacle, the entire empire will prosper. I realize that the citizens of the Huaxia Empire may not fully grasp what the establishment of these four halls means."

As Lin Qian had predicted, the citizens of the Huaxia Empire exchanged puzzled glances, not entirely understanding the significance of his announcement.

However, they knew that travel was currently quite inconvenient. Although the soul cars had become widespread, making short trips within cities and between towns possible for ordinary citizens, long-distance or cross-provincial travel was still only feasible for Soul Martial Artists.

Even for Soul Martial Artists, cross-provincial travel was exhausting. For those at the Nirvana Realm, it was still inconvenient, and even Void-breaking Realm cultivators found flying tiresome.

But in the next moment, they saw a screen suddenly appear in front of Lin Qian, displaying various images that zoomed in and out.

Soon, the screen on the Soul Vision Machines was filled with these images, showing one scene after another.

The first image was of a streamlined metal box crafted from a strange spiritual metal, lying quietly on the ground. This box had windows and doors, resembling a house but not quite, yet it looked aesthetically pleasing.

At that moment, a group of people—some humans and some from the newly joined races—walked toward the metal box.

As they entered the box, the screen followed them inside.

It was only then that everyone saw the interior, which was lined with rows of seats they had never seen before, appearing to be very soft and comfortable. The satisfaction on the faces of those who sat down made this clear.

The scene then shifted outside the strange metal box. They watched as it was enveloped by the light of formations, slowly rising off the ground, hovering just three feet above it.

The metal box then began to move forward, revealing that it was traveling along a wide, flat road, clean and spacious, with lush spiritual trees neatly planted on either side.

"This is called a soul car. It will be managed by the Huaxia Empire Highway Hall. Each city and town will have soul cars traveling to various destinations at scheduled times. For a small fee, you can ride one," Lin Qian's voice explained as the soul car sped down the road. "This way, citizens of the Huaxia Empire can travel to another city, enjoying the scenery from their soft seats, while the soul car takes them to their destination."

Meanwhile, the screen showed the inside of the soul car, where the citizens of the Huaxia Empire could clearly see passengers sitting comfortably in their seats.

Some were resting with their eyes closed, others were chatting, and some children were sitting on their mothers' laps, gazing out the windows.

The scene followed one child's gaze out the window, where another streamlined metal box was speeding along.

The only difference was that this one was much larger, with over a dozen cars connected in a row.

It was mounted on long strips of spiritual metal and moved at a high speed.

The screen zoomed in on the connection between the metal strips on the ground and the metal cars.

The citizens of the Huaxia Empire were amazed to see that even though they were linked together, the cars weren't touching the ground, hovering slightly above it.

Then, their emperor's voice rang out again, "This is called a soul train. It's faster and can carry more passengers at once. For long-distance travel, especially cross-provincial trips, the soul train is unmatched, and it requires even fewer soul crystals than the soul car."

In the sky, a massive cloudship appeared, looking friendlier compared to the warships of the Huaxia Empire.

In the rivers, various sizes of wooden boats were sailing, moving more slowly but ideal for leisurely travel.

The Huaxia Empire Aviation Hall and the Huaxia Empire Waterway Hall would naturally manage these air and water vessels.

Lin Qian's vivid descriptions captivated the imaginations of the entire Huaxia Empire.

In the Huaxia Palace, everyone was silent, even the well-traveled Sword Formation Emperor Zhang Juncheng, who watched the scenes displayed on the screens with rapt attention, completely engrossed in Lin Qian's narrative.

As the images on the screens faded and Lin Qian's descriptions came to an end, everyone slowly returned to reality.

They knew the scenes were real, as similar experiments had been conducted in Qizhou just a few days earlier.

If they hadn't understood what "transportation" meant before, they certainly did now. Their gazes toward Lin Qian were filled with admiration.

"Our emperor is creating new rules!" Lu Shengshou, the Dwarf elder, said excitedly, standing on his desk. "I can already see it—a new world centered around the Huaxia Empire is being born."
