Lucian was on high alert when he saw River stand up and then walk away.
"Hey, don't kill him, okay? I don't want that to weigh on me." Lucian was the one who had given River the information. And the first thing that crossed his mind when River said that she would handle this matter was that she was going to kill Mr. Hugo.
River pursed her lips. She didn't have any intention to kill Mr. Hugo, but because Lucian said that, she turned around and threatened him.
"Fine, as long as you will not tell Ranon that I am here to meet you," River smirked, and Lucian shuddered because, in his eyes, she looked very creepy.
"I don't see you." Lucian then hastily went into his car and drove away. Ares would kill him once he arrived; he should save himself first.
Meanwhile, River was surprised that Lucian had left while she was still inside his house. "Isn't he afraid that I will do something bad with his house?"
