"Our life is not exactly a fairytale." Logan sighed deeply, staring at the ceiling again, and Hazel did the same, as she was speechless upon hearing this confession.
"She groomed you."
"I know," Logan admitted readily. "I know how fucked up it was. I don't need you to tell me, but I really thought she loved me at some point."
Hazel tilted her head and looked at Logan. She opened her mouth, and there were hundreds of nasty words she wanted to tell him, but she held herself back. Logan didn't need that. He knew that was not right.
"I don't know, Logan. I can't imagine loving and thinking of a ten-year-old child sexually." Hazel shuddered only to imagine that. Now she was worried about Ashlyn. This world was crazy. It didn't even spare the innocent children.
"I know." Logan nodded. "But, that's how I feel."
"Does your son know that you are his father?"
