Far from Harro
"...We must do something. We can't just let this continue!" A high-pitched, slightly panicked voice spoke roughly.
"No. You know that if we interfere, only harm will come of it. We could make it worse than it already is!" A deeper voice spoke, being calmer than the first, but there was still an underlying tone of nervousness.
"Worse than the universe being destroyed?! Is there anything worse than that?!" The first voice hissed back, but the second countered stiffly.
"Yes, you know as well as I do that there are far worse outcomes." His words brought in a moment of silence, before it was broken.
"...You're right, but we're already on course for one of those terrible results! Another new one appeared! That means not just this universe is in danger, but the entire multiverse!" The first voice didn't back down, leading to a second of uncertain silence.
"...I believe that we should continue to observe for now. There were multiple new rings over the past months. Something big is happening, and it's not just our universe that's responsible. If we want to avoid erasure, we must act very carefully."
There was another bout of uncertain silence, but then, the first voice nodded with a sigh.
"For now, we'll observe and put our bets on that man. I can't believe that there's a threat to the entire multiverse, and yet our best hope is…"
The man wrinkled his nose, staring down at a small ball, which had the image of a certain battle taking place.
"A Saiyan."

Gray flicked his wrist as he lunged forward, his fist aimed for Boros' gut, but he knew it wouldn't connect. Even if Gray's power had grown greatly, that didn't mean he was suddenly stronger than, or even equal to, Boros. Instead, he was just being given a chance to keep up with him.
Gray's fist cut through the air with a fiery streak of red Ki, but just as he expected, Boros' body shifted slightly, almost lazily, to the side, and the strike didn't even scrape him. Gray's knuckles cracked against nothing but wind pressure, though even the missed blow caused a shockwave to blast outward from the force.
It's still not enough, but I'm closer. I'm one step closer to killing this bastard!
Gray's arm shifted mid-blow, his wrist snapping upward and redirecting the missed blow into a feint as his other hand shot upward to uppercut Boros' chin. In response, Boros' hand raised, and he batted it aside as if the planet-destroying fist was just a fly, his palm striking Gray's forearm so hard in the process that it sent vibrations through his entire body.

Gray hissed as even the deflecting blow nearly tore his arm from its socket, but pushed forward, his teeth bared in a grin.
I didn't want it to be easy anyway! I've come this far with this fucker, so I want him to leave everything on the table!
Gray shifted again, even as his arm was knocked to the side, and utilied Garou's fighting style. Combined with Kaio-Ken speeding up his movements, his body became a blur. He spun his entire frame in a 360 as his leg lashed out in a roundhouse kick, curving upward in a flash. His foot tore through the air, causing wind to swirl around it, as it aimed for Boros' face, and, this time, actually made contact.

Similar to Gray's first blow, Boros didn't let the kick him, but as he yanked his arm up in a split second to block the attack, he was too slow. The foot made contact, slamming into Boros' face, although that was all it did. Boros' cheek shifted to the side slightly, his head turning just a small amount, as he barely even felt the blow.
Boros' hand moved quicker than Gray could retract his leg, his fingers tightening around Gray's ankle in an iron grip. In the next instant, Gray's world spun. Boros yanked his arm upward, dragging Gray up by the leg in the process, and swung him like a rag doll. Gray's body whipped through the air before Boros sent him flying downward, streaming like a red meteor towards Harro so hard that a near city-wide crater appeared around him from the force.

"Fuck!" Gray grunted as his body went limp for a moment, pain screaming through him as rocks dug into his back, but he didn't have much time to recover. A split second later, his eyes widened as a large, pure-black beam of Ki came streaking down towards him.
Boros floated far overhead, his arms held outward, as a massive beam of Ki formed on his palms. He thrust his arms forward, launching the pitch-black attack straight downward as the air overhead started to shake. Wind howled around the beam, and if Gray had the time to look around, he would've seen buildings starting to shake and crumble all around City A. And, if he had even more time to look beyond City A, he would've seen the entire planet start to shake as buildings started to crumble all over Harro.
First he copies my style, now even the color of my attacks?!
Gray shoved himself to his feet, then slammed forward with his hands, having only a split second to form a Kokuyo at his side before he was forced to launch it upwards. The pitch-black ball of Ki launched upward, streaking through the air as it headed to meet the much larger attack boring down on him.
Is this fucker trying to blow up the whole planet?!
Gray gritted his teeth, pushing upward with all the force he could muster. He forced his Ki to flood outward as it filled his attack, and his Kokuyo made contact with the powerful blast raining down. As they met in the middle, a large booming sound resounded as the world started to shake even harder. The ground under Gray cratered from the force, and rocks started to fly into the air as light filled the sky.
The two beams struggled for only a moment before Boros' side started to press downward, pushing Gray's beam back towards him. Gray gritted his teeth even harder, tasting blood in his mouth as he pushed upwards relentlessly, doing everything he could to slow the descent of Boros' beam.
Fuck! This bastard really is going to destroy the entire planet!
Gray's feet were pushed backwards, sliding through the ground and tearing through rock as the beam pressed down on him. His eyes narrowed as he pushed upward with everything he had, but Boros' beam continued to slowly descend, shoving back his attack inch by inch. Gray could do nothing but watch as the beam grew closer, knowing that if he couldn't press back against Boros' attack, then all of Harro would be destroyed.
Fuck! Between losing money or dying, I'm going for broke!
Gray yanked one of his arms to the side, his beam dying down for just a second as Boros' started to come down quicker, and he took a risk. In this moment, he would either die or he'd have the power to push Boros back.
His hand snapped, tapping rapidly through his shop system even as the light overhead grew brighter. He grunted as he realized he wouldn't have enough time, and reached up, shoving the final duo of Senzu Beans into his mouth.

He bit down on one of the beans, carefully swallowing it as he pushed the other between his teeth with his tongue, ready to bite down on it at a moment's notice. His Ki reserves flared up again, flowing through his body as the beam shooting out of his singular hand became renewed with power. It pressed upward, the new wind stalling out Boros' beam as he struggled against the overwhelming power.
Even he has to run out of energy eventually, right?
Despite being put in a position where Gray was literally holding the fate of Harro in one hand, and was the only thing between death and everyone on the planet - including himself - he thought this was actually a good situation. In fact, compared to how the fight had been going before, Gray suspected this was one of the few ways he could win without Harro being completely decimated.
If we continued to fight as we were, Harro would've inevitably ended up like Monas did. This way, he'll drain his energy in an unwinnable clash. Once he's all empty, I'll just kick his ass!
Gray grinned as his free hand reached his objective, purchasing a couple of [Enchanced Senzu Bean]'s from the shop. He could use the normal Senzu Beans to stall Boros until he was low on Ki again and ate the enhanced ones, which would then allow him to compete with Boros as his EREG was repeatedly doubled.
Though, despite believing the situation was in his favor, his grin still faded a second later as a pained scowl took its place.
I'll win eventually, but fuck! This is fuckin' rough!
Gray felt his Ki reserves plummeting again as the sky overhead was filled with light, and the force pressing down on him started to become heavier. He bit down, relieving some of the strain as he chewed through the Senzu Bean waiting in his teeth, and the two beams of power stalled out again for just a few seconds.

Gray grinned as his body was filled with energy again, and his hand pushed upwards, actually pushing back Boros' attack for a split second. It was only for a split second, as Boros shoved his hands forward immediately after, and the beams stalled out again, but the notification still gave Gray some more confidence.
My LUK's gone up a shit-ton from all those Zenkai Boosts, hasn't it? It pretty much made that normal bean an enhanced bean!
Gray had mostly been concerned about the power boosts he was getting from the ass-beating he was tanking, but it wasn't only his physical stats that increased from the Zenkai Boosts.
My LUK, and even CHA, would've also gone up by a fuck-ton! If I just keep holding out like this and get some more help from my LUK, then I'll kill this fucker!
Despite how long the clash seemed in Gray's mind, he had gone through the two Senzu Beans in less than ten seconds, and only a couple of seconds later, he was about to flick an enhanced one into his mouth. He hoped for another energy doubler, but just before he chomped down on the bean, a notification appeared to his side. One that wasn't the typical Senzu Bean one.

Gray could only half-think about the notification, as he was still struggling to keep Boros at bay as he read it from the corner of his eye, but that still meant he was half-confused.
I'm glad this fuckin' crazy LUK is helping, but Eyes of Judgment? The fuck does that mean?!
Gray grunted as the small break in his focus caused the attack to oppressively push down again, and he had to steel his face as he shoved back with his own beam again. His teeth bit down on the Senzu Bean, and just as his energy was refilled, something very unexpected happened.

Far in the air, only a few feet away from the light show that was Boros and Gray's beams colliding, a figure appeared. It was as if he had been summoned out of thin air - one second, the space was empty, and the next, there was a man.

Gray started to wonder, but his eyes went wide as his brain, slowed from the strain of focusing on the beam-struggle, recognized the figure after a second.
Am I fuckin' missing something here?! Why the fuck did he just show up outta nowhere?!
If Gray wasn't so focused on the life-and-death struggle of holding back Boros, his expression would've gone blank. Out of thin air, for a reason he couldn't even imagine, a figure who sat near the top of the universe simply appeared.
"You two have no idea what you've done, do you?" A voice with a mixture of anger and annoyance called out, sounding almost like a scolding. The man's gaze was far more serious than Gray had ever seen on a screen, and his eyes seemed to bore into his head with justified anger.
The fuck did I do to piss him off?!
In the blink of an eye, for reasons Gray didn't yet know, the Supreme Kai had arrived on Harro.
