Chapter 401 - Chapter 401

DING DING

The moment the Slave master announced the identity of the elf, Ali's glass phone rang twice. He took it out of his pocket and saw a video had been sent to him.

"Ah Fuck…", Ali said as he watched the video. He saw drone footage of sixty elves running through the border and crossing the burnt-down part of the forest from his fight.

'And they're all knights, great…', he thought, seeing their distinct armour and curved blades.

He opened the map app on the phone and clicked on the blue dot in Obidos. He called the castle from his phone.

In his office, Fiona, Melissa, and Kaelyra were sitting on the seats, enjoying some tea. Melissa was introduced to the dark elf by Fiona. Melissa wasn't fond of the dark elf, as she hinted more than once now about her intimate relationship with Ali.

"Fiona, can you hear me?", Ali's voice rang out in the room from the mirror on the wall, and the tea cups fell from their hands from the shock as they all stood up, surprised.

"Ali? Is that you?", Fiona asked, walking closer to the mirror that still looked normal from up close.

"Yes, now listen closely to what I'm going to say. There are sixty elf knights heading to my land. You will meet them at Stork with both of my dragons."

"But why are they crossing the border with such a force?", Fiona asked, looking behind her at Eryndis, who opened her eyes wide, thinking the elves were after her.

"Because the Slavers kidnapped a queen candidate. I am at the auction right now.", Ali answered.

"It can't be…Those elves are protected by very powerful mages and dozens of knights at all times, as they are taught all they need to become a queen for centuries.", Eryndis explained.

"Fiona, you must talk with them, explain that I will bring their princess back in two days' time. And if they choose to ignore your words, then leave it to my dragons and Miles.", Ali ordered, and Fiona nodded seriously. She understood how important the situation was.

"Should I take Cassian or one of the others with me?", Fiona asked, thinking of the strongest knight they had.

"No, you alone, Fiona. And remember, you are my advisor; you will meet them from the back of a dragon. Their lives are in your hands, Fiona." Ali needed the call, leaving the gold-eyed women taking a deep breath.

"Melissa, inform your brother he's in charge in my absence and heighten security in Obidos. Eryndis, take me to the dragons now." Fiona ordered.

Back in the auction, Ali calmly pocketed the phone as the door to his room opened. "Lord, we brought you something to pass the time with as you watch the auction," a human butler pushed a brown-haired bunny girl into Ali's room. She was wearing a very short black skirt and a maid-like top that showed her cleavage, which she didn't have much of.

After the demi-human walked in shyly, the butler closed the door. Ali turned from his chair to see Liza standing there, holding the edge of the skirt shyly and covering the open top that covered her chest.

"So, you're my entertainment then." Ali said teasingly, and Liza's face went red hearing the words come out of his mouth.

"Stop that," Liza shouted in frustration, and Ali simply smirked as he turned back to the auction in front of him. They were now bidding for slaves that weren't special at all; they were just bought to work.

"So, is everything ready?", Ali asked.

"Yes, lord, with the help of our friends from the brothel, we now have demi-humans working at the auction. Bona is working in the dungeons right now and is just waiting for your signal." Liza reported seriously.

Ali saw her serious expression and smirked. Liza felt suspicious seeing him smile like that, and her suspicions bore fruit when Ali lifted a finger, and her skirt went up, exposing her black underwear.

AAH

She screamed as she crouched and pushed down her shirt while Ali sipped water from a cup casually….

In the barracks of the Viscount's knights, the large building was empty of the loud men as they were preparing outside the city for the march down south. Only those assigned to the castle stayed, and that included the two level three knights who stood outside the Viscount's bastard's room.

They were young and friends of the bastard, but they were also very diligent. Their father and the Viscount himself made sure they understood the importance of keeping the Viscount's son safe and healthy, as he would be revealed in due time to be the chosen heir.

"Are we going to the war? I want to see a dragon." One of the young knights started the conversation, bored.

"I'm not sure. We have not been told if we're accompanying the Viscount on this march." The other answered.

But while they talked to pass the time, behind them and inside the room they'd been guarding, Keith was standing silently. Over the young knights, who were sleeping peacefully in his bed, Keith could see the slight twitch in the bastard's eyes while he slept.

'He's a light sleeper. It could be a result of the constant assassination attempts on him.' Keith thought as he brought his hand down on the bastard's mouth. He had a cloth covering his hand, and his eyes were very focused. 'Wait until the very last moment…', Keith remembered how Ali attacked him and tried to recreate that method.

He thought of everything as he brought his hand down. He thought he was a priest healing the bastard, even anything but a malicious intent, as that would expose him to any sharp instinct the bastard had.

CLASP UGH

Finally, Keith covered the bastard's mouth with the cloth, making the bastard open his eyes, shocked. But just as he opened his eyes, the very strong sleeping agent on the cloth sent him back to sleep immediately.

Then Keith took off the bastard's shirt to look for anything that would send a signal to the Viscount if the bastard left the city. That's when he saw a necklace around his neck that had the Motter family hammer attached to it.

'Fuck, that's runic, I have to be careful…', Keith thought as he saw the engravings on the small metal hammer. He brought his knife up to the metal necklace and activated his aura very calmly, not to alert the knights outside. He slowly cut off the necklace at the metal lock with the least number of engravings on it.

Back in the auction.

The viscount glanced at his son, forcibly pouring a bottle of wine down his slaves mouth, making her choke on the red wine as her face got redder by the second. But then he felt a very thin tug at the necklace around his neck.

He reached for his necklace but calmed down when he felt it was still attached. This was a magical necklace that connected him to the necklace his son wore, making sure he was safe and close.

Half an hour passed, and the auction just sold their last demi-human warrior, who was a middle stage level four aura user, a very powerful slave that was sold for ninety thousand gold coins, enough gold to build a small town but was used to buy a slave. Of course, the slave was valuable enough for the gold paid.

"They have a runic collar round his neck. The master could kill him using it.", Liza said, what Bona told her.

"I'll take care of it when the time comes", Ali responded. But then his finger twitched as he felt the Force sign he left on Keith reach the walls of the city. Ali snapped his fingers.

And Keith, who was standing on the large concrete wall with seven guards around him— six dead— felt a wind knock into his chest. He understood that was Ali's signal and looked at the seventh guard, who was now wearing the metal hammer necklace around his neck.

Keith put the bastard on his shoulder and jumped off the wall…
