Chapter 905 - Chapter 904: A Grand Reveal

Information regarding the Dreammaster was spreading rapidly throughout Penacony.

Under normal circumstances, this kind of content wouldn't spread so quickly: even with someone manipulating things from the shadows, under the Family's suppression, this content would usually vanish very soon.

But here lay the awkward part: the various Family Heads had all been sent to Dreamflux Reef.

Previously, everyone had been communicating with Sunday, but after Sunday left temporarily, he never returned. This caused them to refrain from acting rashly for the time being and instead wait for Sunday's return.

As for whether Sunday could return? No one knew.

Anyway, he couldn't return right now, because he was still lying in a trash can with a pacifier in his mouth, enjoying an infant-like slumber, with absolutely no time to come back and deal with this nonsense.

Apart from the Family Heads, the one most in charge was the Dreammaster.

But a bigger problem arose: Xipe Cake had temporarily screened off the Dreammaster, and even used the power of Harmony to constantly respond to the Dreammaster, leading him to believe everything was normal.

But in reality, everything was under Xipe Cake's control.

Xipe Cake had no intention of dealing with Penacony's current situation; with Pei Guang here, it would just let its 'father' handle everything.

With Pei Guang present, the only thing it needed to consider was what to do if Pei Guang dumped Penacony's matters onto it.

To be honest, Xipe Cake had no interest whatsoever in managing Penacony. It preferred to travel across the universe like its other siblings, letting everyone in the entire universe experience Harmony.

Due to multiple reasons, the unofficial history concocted by Pei Guang and Gallagher went completely unchecked, and there was even a trend of it spreading within the Family itself.

This sufficiently wild unofficial history caught the eyes of many.

After learning that the Dreammaster sold his ass, many people were even preparing to pull strings to meet the Dreammaster, to see if they could get a piece of the Dreammaster's ass.

As for whether the Dreammaster had a body? For most people, that wasn't a big problem.

They only wanted the Dreammaster's ass: nothing else was really important.

While Penacony was in chaotic turmoil, back at Dreamflux Reef, just as Pei Guang and Gallagher finished with the unofficial history regarding the Dreammaster, March 7th found Pei Guang, who was having a great time.

"Ah Guang! Come quickly, the Stellaron's location is confirmed."

Pei Guang: "Confirmed? Where is it?"

Hearing there was serious business, he immediately perked up.

March 7th: "It's that Grand Theater. We learned some information about the Stellaron through those Family Heads; the Stellaron is the Penacony Grand Theater itself. You didn't expect that, did you!"

Pei Guang looked up at the inverted Penacony Grand Theater in the sky and sighed with emotion: "You don't say, I really didn't expect that. My previous guess was just that it was related to the Stellaron, but I didn't guess what it specifically was. But this Grand Theater is also a bit interesting: a Grand Theater that looks like a spinning top on the outside?"

March 7th asked curiously: "Hmm? Is there some story behind that?"

Pei Guang fell into reminiscence: "A story? There really is one. As long as the spinning top keeps spinning and doesn't stop, it proves that we are always within a dream. Hmm, this is a plot point from a movie back where I'm from. If you're interested, I'll tell it to you when everything is over."

"Yay~ I love listening to stories the most."

Pei Guang prepared to contact those Family Heads to understand the specific situation.

As for being hated by the Family Heads? Pei Guang wasn't worried at all, because up until now, the Family Heads didn't know what happened in the Golden Hour; they even thought Pei Guang came down here together with them.

Following March 7th, Pei Guang arrived at the place where the Family Heads were gathered. Currently, the Family Heads were gathered together discussing topics related to the Stellaron.

Some Family Heads believed that the existence of the Stellaron was too dangerous: Dreamflux Reef had already proven that problems had arisen in the Dreamscape, and the Stellaron needed to be controlled.

Yet others believed this was just alarmist talk, a scenario created by that History Fictionologist to scare them.

If Sunday were here, as the actual person in charge of Penacony, he would naturally be qualified to help everyone make a choice.

But now Sunday had run off to who knows where. No matter how heated their discussion was, they didn't dare issue orders arbitrarily.

However, considering the crisis of the Stellaron, and taking into account the Trailblazer's reputation and character, a little bit of information regarding the Stellaron was still revealed.

Welt and Robin were negotiating with these Family Heads.

When Pei Guang walked over, Himeko told Pei Guang the current situation.

"Welt has already reached an agreement with the Family Heads. Welt and Robin will go back with them to negotiate with the Dreammaster, to see if the crisis in Penacony can be resolved in a relatively peaceful manner. Ah Guang, what are your thoughts?"

Hearing Himeko's question, Pei Guang rubbed his chin and pondered: "Splitting up our forces before a major battle, I feel something is likely to go wrong."

March 7th: "Hey hey hey, don't scare people, I get scared easily..."

Firefly: "Is there a reason for saying that?"

Pei Guang nodded: "Look at it this way! We know the Grand Theater is the Stellaron, and Penacony maintains its current state through the Stellaron. The Family Heads also know some secrets about the Stellaron. Then tell me, would the Dreammaster know these things too?

I don't believe the Dreammaster doesn't know. Knowing this and still constantly using the Stellaron, I guess he definitely has something he wants to do. If we split up now and let Old Yang face the Dreammaster alone, isn't that just serving him up on a platter?"

In many games Pei Guang had played, the plot often involved splitting up right before fighting the boss, and the ones who split off to act alone would end up having problems for various reasons.

Pei Guang wasn't worried about Welt being captured or enslaved: he was worried that the Dreammaster, or rather the mastermind behind the scenes, would just chop Welt up.

He didn't think Welt would fall into such a predicament either, but this was a possible event. If possible, Pei Guang still didn't wish for splitting forces before the final battle to cause such a possibility to occur.

Himeko fell into deep thought: "You mean, we'd better act together from now on?"

Pei Guang: "That's right. At the very least, we need to act in pairs. If it's just one person, even if they can react when danger arises, two fists are no match for four hands."

Although splitting up carried risks, Pei Guang also understood that it was necessary. Even though he was a player, in this real world, he couldn't be of two minds and pursue two storylines simultaneously.

To obtain more intelligence and information, reliable companions were needed to act independently.

But then again, two people were ultimately safer than one, especially since the two acting together were both experienced individuals.

Even if danger arose, they could more or less react in time.

With Pei Guang's special ability, as long as they could react, even for just an instant, it would be enough for the two of them to run away and save their lives.

While Himeko was thinking, Welt and Robin, who had finished negotiating with the Family Heads, walked over.

Seeing everyone deep in thought, Welt asked: "What happened? You all look so grave."

Himeko: "Ah Guang has some ideas. I think his ideas make some sense..."

Himeko voiced Pei Guang's previous concerns. Welt pushed up his glasses and thought seriously. After thinking for a long time, he nodded: "I also think Ah Guang has a point."

Himeko: "In that case, I'll go with you. After all, the Dreammaster..."

Currently, all clues pointed towards the Dreammaster. To obtain more information, they needed to make contact with him and, according to Pei Guang, confronting the Dreammaster directly was no different from confronting the final boss directly.

Taking everything into account, letting the two most experienced people on the train go together was most appropriate.

As for here? With Pei Guang present, neither Himeko nor Welt worried about safety issues, nor did they worry that anything would be overlooked by the two of them.

The only thing to worry about was whether Pei Guang was in a normal state during this time. If not, then there would be some 'fun'.

Decision made, the group decided to split up.

However, before acting, Pei Guang reminded Himeko and Welt: "I've already put all the items obtained along the way into the public inventory. If you encounter any danger, don't hesitate to use them. I saved up items all the way just to use them when needed. If they aren't used, it would be a waste instead."

Welt: "I understand. But if anything really goes wrong, you must seal the Stellaron."

Welt trusted some of Pei Guang's items very much, but he still prepared for the worst.

Himeko felt similarly, but both believed that even without the two of them, Pei Guang and the others could still seal the Stellaron.

Welt revealed a smile that they both understood, waved his hand simply, and together with Himeko, followed the Family Heads and Robin back to the Golden Hour to meet and negotiate with the Dreammaster.

They took action, but on the way forward, Himeko looked with a smile at Welt, who was carrying the Nihility Manhole Cover on his back: "Oh? Why bring this out now?"

Welt pushed up his glasses and introduced seriously: "Although it is a manhole cover, as an 'item', it can help us negotiate better with the Dreammaster. I personally suggest you wear this one too. If any problems really arise..."

Himeko didn't reply, but the manhole cover next to her suitcase already told Welt that she was prepared.
