The next morning —
Arwen and Aiden were in the car heading somewhere.
Arwen stared out of the window and tried to understand where he was taking her, but she couldn't guess it, no matter how hard she tried to think. And since the last evening, Aiden hadn't talked to her —not even when she had tried to.
He was still careful and gentle around her, but his deliberate silence like that was just making it uncomfortable for her. She was yet to get his reaction on the news she had shared with him, but he … he was simply not talking to her.
And that was just not feeling right?
Was he upset with the news?
Given what they discussed earlier, he shouldn't be. But then, what made him react this way?
She tried to think, but nothing helped her. She couldn't tell what Aiden had been thinking in his mind. And why was he reacting this way? Why was he giving her the silent treatment?
