June 4, afternoon.
No classes.
Outside, the sunlight was scorching, but inside it was cool and comfortable, so quiet that only the sound of Liu Zhengming typing and clicking the mouse could be heard.
Zhou Li woke up from his nap.
He felt a bit hot, almost struggling to breathe.
It was only upon waking that he found a fluffy little creature sprawled on his neck, like a scarf, sleeping soundly. Zhou Li had no choice but to pick up the little thing and place it aside; she didn't move at all, just like a stuffed doll.
He got up, washed his face, and finally felt revived.
He took out his phone, scrolled through his photo album to find a student ID list, his gaze scanning downwards, then opened a drawer to take out the interview report and a pen.
Next up was the class president, Zhong Xin.
She was a beauty.
Zhou Li had to be particularly careful when talking to her.
Zhou Li: Are you there?
Zhong Xin: Here.
Zhou Li: Is it convenient now?
