The somewhat disheveled old Taoist in a hemp Taoist robe extended his hand, blocking the two heavenly generals clad in ancient armor, with a surge of immense and pure qi from the Taoist Sect, halting them in their tracks. He then looked at the celestial beings ahead, particularly the one the others addressed as the Immortal Lord, and his smile faded as he said:
"As long as this old Taoist is here, you shall not take another step forward."
A tall heavenly general in golden armor seemed enraged at being impeded by what he perceived to be a mere mortal, and he shouted loudly: "A mere mortal Taoist dares to act against celestial beings?!"
"Retreat swiftly, or I shall sever the three flowers atop your head, condemning you to eternal damnation!"
The old Taoist turned to the golden-armored divine general and said:
"Try it if you dare."
"Hmph!"
