On the East Sea Coast, Miao Zhiquiao changed into ordinary clothes and, along with the surviving disciples of the Jade Dragon Sect, sorted and processed the seafood brought back from the ship. They brought it all to the market in this important town, where disciples who had learned some martial arts had already claimed spots.
Everyone worked busily for a long time before setting up the seafood. They placed wooden plaques with the prices written on them in the baskets. Miao Zhiquiao took two nimble youths to roam outside, intending to take this opportunity to purchase the islanders' needed items. They planned to bring them on the next sea voyage.
This way, they could also exchange for some fish only obtainable in the deep sea. In time, the silver earned was more abundant than protecting ships at sea.
Miao Zhiquiao was somewhat tempted—why not truly pursue this trade business?
