As soon as Wang Jian mentioned there was a problem, both Li Shuang and Cai Qiong looked over, waiting to hear what he had to say.
"Your pulse is simple overall, but there's a slight fluctuation," Wang Jian began. "I initially thought it was just from you staying up late last night. However, after a more careful examination, I found that a parasite has been implanted in your shoulder."
He pointed to Li Shuang's left shoulder.
Startled, Li Shuang immediately pulled open the collar of his shirt. He twisted his body and neck to get a look, noticing some redness, but it was just some fingertip marks.
"It's been itchy since last night," Li Shuang explained. "I just thought it was a mosquito bite."
As he spoke, Li Shuang subconsciously reached up to scratch it, but Wang Jian quickly stopped him. "Wait, don't pick at it."
Wang Jian pointed to a spot further back on his shoulder where there was a tiny red dot.
