With a hustle and bustle, the Kansas City Chiefs Defense players surrounded Matty, drenched in sweat like they had just been fished out of the water, yet they momentarily forgot their fatigue, cheering and celebrating wildly.
Matty looked up to see Chris Jones coming towards him. They exchanged a glance, everything understood without words, and bumped fists.
Since being selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round, 69th overall, of the 2013 draft, Matty has rolled through the league for seven years. People said he had talent and ability, yet he never really delivered on it. Matty didn't know how to work to cash in on his talent, confused and dazed, even beginning to doubt himself:
