"What were you doing? You're so young and already thinking about spending money, be careful or you'll get lost. I'm telling you, this is the Capital City. If something goes wrong, you'll never get back home." Li Lu scolded her sister while pulling her into the room and closing the door.
Li Hao pouted.
"I was just looking around, and wanted to get some popping candy."
"All you think about is eating, what else do you know! Honestly."
Li Lu ignored Li Hao and lay on the bed to watch cartoons.
Li Hao quietly sat on the chair.
Li Xiang came over from next door.
"Pack your bags, Dad just called and said we're flying to Hainan tonight. There's an ocean there, I've heard it's really beautiful. Blue skies, white clouds, and the vast sea. Dad said we're staying at a hotel by the beach."
Li Xiang was excited; he was in his first year of middle school and was longing to see the legendary city.
Having grown up in a northern city, he had never seen the ocean.
