Early in the morning, Zhou Xinyao heard loud noises outside and opened the bedroom door to find the commotion coming from downstairs.
"Why are you all up so early?" She rubbed her sleepy eyes and looked downstairs, seeing Shao Meiru holding a suitcase and arguing with Zhou Jingxian, so she hurried down the stairs.
"Mom, where are you going?"
Shao Meiru turned her face, "I really can't stay in this house any longer."
Zhou Jingxian's expression wasn't good either. He had suffered enough hits recently and didn't need another.
"Let her leave," he said to Zhou Xinyao, "There's no point in forcing someone to stay if they want to go."
"Dad!" Zhou Xinyao thought the hardest times were over, but it seems they were just beginning, "Mom hasn't been able to eat or sleep these past few days because of you, she's worried about you!"
