"Ms. Xia, wait a moment." Just as she was about to step out the door, Xia Lu suddenly heard someone call out to her. She turned around and saw Zhou Jingxian gently closing the hospital room door and walking towards her.
"Thank you for taking care of Mom. You've worked hard."
"Actually, I haven't done much, just came to keep Grandma company and chat with her," Xia Lu smiled, "Grandma likes eating the food Aunt Zhang makes, so I just brought some for her."
"As her son, I should have thought of that," Zhou Jingxian said. "Starting tomorrow, I'll arrange for someone to handle the meals, so you won't have to keep running back and forth."
"It's no trouble. The studio isn't busy lately," Xia Lu replied. "If there's nothing else, I'll head out."
She left the hospital and went straight back to the West Suburb Villa.
