Xia Lu waited for several days, but Zhou Mingchen never came to talk about the unfinished topic in his office from before. It seemed as though that matter hadn't left any mark in his mind, not even warranting the need for further resolution.
After much thought, she decided to take the initiative.
"Concerning the shares under my name, what are you planning to do with them?"
Zhou Mingchen had just finished breakfast and was enjoying his morning coffee when he heard this and accidentally scalded himself with the hot coffee. He thought she had forgotten about this matter, not expecting her to bring it up unexpectedly at such a moment.
He was completely unprepared to answer because no matter how much he explained, it seemed unlikely that he could hide his true motives.
