Chapter 225 - Chapter 225 Dismantling arguments.

With the deal in place, Paul had more than enough time to heal both girls.

But since they wished to toy with him and, as he suspected, force him to end them the moment they won.

He decided to give them some hope of victory before ultimately crushing it by healing their eyes.

-Since we have time, I'll just reconnect the tendons in your hands today.

Paul said and got to work.

With the diagnostic technique, he located both parts of the tendons and, using his Qi, he pulled them back together before using a spell to reconnect them, one by one.

That way, he didn't need to make any incisions, and the amount of pain was reduced to a minimum, which was then further reduced by the numbing spell he cast on the patients.

It took him two hours, but once he was done, both ladies could use their hands again, which made them visibly happy, despite their efforts to hide it.

-Lord Marshal, please wait a moment.

Madam Gu stopped him as he was about to leave the mansion.

-Is there something you need?

Paul asked, turning to her.

-I wish to know what you will demand of my daughters once you heal them?

She asked nervously.

It was already too late to go back on the deal since her daughters initiated it and accepted the terms, but she still needed to know what they had gotten themselves into.

-Truth be told, I have not thought about it yet, but I'm sure I can come up with something.

Paul smiled.

-At the very least, I'm going to make sure that they won't end their lives, and you can be sure that I'm not interested in their bodies.

He added, guessing why the woman was so nervous.

Madam Gu calmed down a lot, hearing his words, and even if it stung a bit, as her daughters were beautiful, and would be once more when he finished healing them.

She had seen Paul's ladies more than once and had to admit that her daughters were barely comparable with them in their best days, so it was natural for him not to covet their bodies.

Additionally, she remembered him saying that two of his ladies were violated in the past, so he must have known how hard it was to get over the trauma.

-Then how certain are you about restoring their eyes?

Madam Gu asked, despite believing that he would be capable of restoring her daughter's sight.

-I'm 100% certain about it.

Paul answered.

-Also, seeing that their bodies are reacting extremely well to the treatments, I'm almost certain that I can restore both of them to full health.

He added and left.

What he did forget, however, was that his cultivation was progressing way faster than before, and if he went at this pace, he would need to start his breakthrough within three days at most.

Paul only remembered about it after his cultivation with Natalie, once he returned to the mansion.

He also told his ladies about the deal he made with the Gu sisters, which earned him a bunch of glares, since all the ladies immediately jumped to the conclusion that he wanted these two women to join the family, and they reminded him that they had to agree to it first.

This made Paul laugh, as he assured them that he had no intention of demanding that these two women join the family before he explained his intentions, calming all the ladies down.

During the next two days, Paul continued healing the Gu sisters.

Reconnecting the tendons in their legs, to allow them to walk again, restoring the damage to their internal organs, which was not significant, but was there, and if not treated, it could cause trouble further down the road.

He also removed all the scars on their bodies, which was a new ability Lord Sei passed down to him.

The two ladies were still far from being fully treated, but they were getting better.

However, Paul's delay in restoring their eyes made them certain that he was unable to do it.

This illusion shattered on the third day.

-Well, ladies, I wanted to wait till the last day before regenerating your eyes, but I ran out of time and will need to go into seclusion for my breakthrough today.

Paul announced, surprising all three ladies.

-The rest of your treatment will need to wait until I'm done with advancing to the Wizard stage, which might take me a few days.

He added, before any of them could say anything.

-So you were not lying when you told us that you can restore our eyes?

The younger sister asked, still surprised, as she believed that to be the case.

-What made you think I was lying?

Paul asked, amused.

He was certain that they thought he was lying, which made their surprise even more amusing for him.

-Actually, never mind about that.

Let's get started, since I don't have all day for this.

He said, and proceeded to cast a numbing spell and a sleeping spell on both girls, before they could answer his previous question.

-Madam Gu, you might want to leave the room now, since this won't be a pretty sight.

He advised the mother of his patients, and she agreed to leave, trusting him completely at this point.

Additionally, she understood that he most likely needed to focus solely on the treatment, and she would only distract him if she remained.

As soon as she left, Paul got to work.

His first order of business was to remove the scar tissue, preventing him from regenerating the optical nerves, which were ripped out.

He did that using his Qi and at the same time casting healing spells, to prevent the bleeding.

As soon as that was done, he focused on restoring the eyeballs of the younger sister, whom he chose to go first.

This was a tedious job since the eyes were mostly comprised of nerve tissue, and he also had to restore all the muscles controlling eye movement.

It took him four hours to regenerate the girl's eyes and another two hours to restore her optical nerves.

His patient work earned him praise from his reincarnation soul, who could find no mistakes in the treatment.

He ended the treatment by casting a healing spell, allowing the body to restore the rest of the eye's structures.

In the end, within six hours, she had her eyes back.

The older sister's treatment went faster since he had more experience now, but he still went at it slowly and with his full attention directed at the task.

Within ten hours, both ladies had their eyes back, and now it was time to see if the treatment also returned their sight.

-Madam Gu, you can come in.

Paul said as soon as he was done.

-Did it work?

The woman asked as soon as she opened the door.

-We will see soon.

He answered and removed the sleeping spell from the two girls.

It only took a moment for the two girls to open their eyes and sit down on their beds, their faces filled with surprise.

-Mom, I can see you.

The younger girl said, and tears started falling from her newly restored eyes.

The older girl was the same, as she could not believe that her sight was back.

With that, both girls could finally move like normal and rushed to hug their mother, who was openly crying right now, seeing her daughters mostly healed.

Seeing this, Paul left the room, giving the three of them a moment to get over their emotions.

It took a while, but soon all three ladies came to the main room where he was waiting.

-You kept your end of the deal, so now you can decide what you want in return?

The older sister said, with a bit of embarrassment, as he had proved her wrong, which was embarrassing for someone like her who loved to be right.

Not to mention that now she could see him, and she was amazed at how handsome he was.

-What I want is for both of you to live.

Paul said calmly and raised his hand to stop the two girls from protesting.

-I know that it won't be easy for you, but I did keep my end of the deal, so it is my right to demand this.

Also, I don't like my work to be wasted, not to mention that you have long lives ahead of you, and it is beyond wasteful to throw it all away because of something you had no say in.

Lastly, did you even think about your mother and her feelings in this matter?

Paul asked, surprising both girls, who just now realized that their deaths would hurt their mother deeply.

-But even if we stay alive, our lives are over.

The older sister said.

-We can't get married, our cultivation is gone, our meridians are damaged, and our physiques are destroyed.

With all of that, staying alive will be nothing short of torture for us.

-Let me stop you right there.

Paul butted in before she could say anything more.

-Your cultivation is not gone; both your dantians are fine and were never damaged.

As for your damaged meridians, they can be restored, and I'll get to that after my breakthrough.

Now, for the marriage, it is true that the two of you might have a problem with that in this realm, but who said that you need to stay in this realm forever?

He asked, knowing that in the upper realms, people didn't put so much value on their partners being virgins, as there were many dual cultivation sects around and dual cultivation was much more popular over there.

All three ladies were surprised at his words as they never considered relocating to the higher realm, and they never heard about restoring meridians, unless it was with some rare pills and potions, which they definitely could not afford right now.

-Lastly, your physiques, whatever they were in the past, are also not destroyed, but most likely they changed, and all you need to do is to find out what they changed into and find an appropriate cultivation technique.

He dropped another bombshell, which he just learned from Lord Sei.

The two ladies were now speechless, since he dismantled every argument they had to justify taking their own lives, and there was nothing that they could say to contradict his words.
