After finishing his work with the legal team, Martin finally had time for his lunch. He was an introvert who preferred having lunch by himself in his office and always avoided the crowded office cafeteria but when he heard they were serving ramen and braised pork for lunch, he decided to make an exception.
Martin hesitated at the entrance of the cafeteria, clutching his tray, when a familiar group of former trainees spotted him.
"Martin—Over here!" one of them called, waving him over. They all had that tired, slightly haggard look that came from working under demanding bosses.
As soon as Martin approached, they erupted into a chorus of complaints.
"Can you believe my boss made me color-code the entire inventory spreadsheet? By hand!" one groaned, slamming her chopsticks down.
"That's nothing," another chimed in. "My boss made me rewrite an entire presentation because he didn't like the font I used. FONT!"
