Julian looked like he had seen a ghost. A huge part of him wanted Cassie to deny having any connection to what happened to Brooke in the past. He wanted her to claim Brooke was lying, he wanted a reason to believe her.
Cassie repeated herself, "And so what if I did any of that? You're my father, you're meant to be on my side. What I did and didn't do is all in the past anyway." She said, then helped herself to a seat at the table.
Serena felt years of her life shortening. Why did Cassie have to go and say that?
She cracked a nervous laugh, "Julian she's just bitter over how badly Brooke treated her-"
Julian got up, "Cassie get up, you're coming with me to go apologize to Brooke."
"Haa?" Cassie looked disgusted at the thought. "Why the hell would I do that?" She asked, genuinely confused.
Brooke was beneath her, so why would she do something as inhumane as apologizing to that leech?
But Julian stood his ground, "You are going to apologize to Brooke and that's final."
