After seeing the news of Brooke's arrest, Kayden felt foolish for placing so much money on a random woman just to spite Cassie.
Of course, someone who rivalled Cassie had to be just as trashy as she was. He turned off his phone and went downstairs to stretch his legs.
-"Did you forget that illegitimate kid is still here?"
Kayden paused when he heard his sister's insufferable voice from the dining room. The maids were out doing laundry and running errands, so the house was basically empty save for the three of them.
He rolled his eyes at her crude remark and turned to retire to his room, but stopped when he heard Serena's response.
-"Ah, my mistake, I was too careless just now." The woman gushed.
Careless? Did these two ever care to hide their animosity towards him? They must be talking about something important.
