Chapter 184 - Volume 2 Chapter 63: Crush Them All

Volume 2 Chapter 63: Crush Them All

Ho'olheyak thought she must have lost her mind to risk everything she had painstakingly built just to come warn Garde and help him escape.

How long had it even been?

A week? Half a month?

And this crocodile man had already started flirting with another girl.

Just because he was a little tall, mighty, handsome, and charming —

What was so great about that?

Don't be fooled by that honest, innocent look of his!

"Scumbag, degenerate, playboy, bulldozer..."

Ho'olheyak gnawed at her fingernails, glaring menacingly at Garde and Ishar'mla lying on the bed.

She really must have been blinded by beast oil to come warn Garde.

"Ishar'mla, this isn't the time for this."

Pushing Ishar'mla off of him, Garde looked at Ho'olheyak, who had pushed the door open and entered from the hallway, even though they had clearly locked it.

"Ho'olheyak, what are you doing here?" Garde asked.

"What, am I not allowed to be here?"

Ho'olheyak sneered, noticing Ishar'mla's appearance.

Although it was hard to tell her race, her figure and looks were both stunning.

No wonder the two had gotten together.

No — wait, why did she even care about what Garde was doing with another woman?

What did it have to do with her?

She had only used Garde's body to comfort herself, nothing more. What Garde did after that had nothing to do with her.

If it weren't for the fact that Garde owed her a pile of favors — and if he were captured by the Columbian authorities, she'd lose everything — she would never have come to warn him.

"Adakrys, you're in deep trouble. The entire Columbian secret police are hunting you down, and you still dare to come back to Columbia."

Ho'olheyak had a mocking expression, eager to see how Garde would react once he heard this.

"What do they want with me? I didn't break the law. I just took a little Seaborn, is it really that serious?"

Garde glanced at the other bed, where the little Seaborn was lying with its eyes open, staring at the ceiling. He muttered, "Judging by the noise outside, it must be your Columbian people. How many divisions did you bring?"

"What?"

Ho'olheyak froze at his words.

"I heard Columbia's rich, they have lots of fast warships and mobile cities, and each of them are top-ranked across all of Terra. To deal with me, you guys didn't deploy a whole mobile city, did you?"

"You..."

At first, Ho'olheyak thought Garde was joking, but after looking carefully, she realized he wasn't joking at all.

A sudden guess popped into her mind.

Actually, back during the Hotlands incident, Ho'olheyak had noticed Garde's absurd strength in the dream world — strong enough to crush an entire Nightmare Army.

But knowing some things about Garde's background, she had just assumed he was a particularly powerful and special Adakrys.

She hadn't thought deeper about it.

Until those three days and nights of being devoured by him, where she personally watched Garde's body grow bigger and smaller right in front of her eyes.

What kind of Originium Arts could achieve that?

Ho'olheyak hadn't sensed any use of Originium Arts at all.

From that moment on, she had begun to suspect something.

And now, Garde had practically confirmed her suspicions.

On this land, there existed some mysterious beings, no one knew where they came from, but they were born with strange powers different from Originium Arts.

In the savage ancient times, they were called gods, worshipped and revered by humans.

Until a thousand years ago, when an ancient eastern country waged war against the gods and eventually drove them out of their lands.

From then on, these powerful beings, origin unknown, were given a new name — Feranmuts.

Could Garde be a Feranmut?

All Ho'olheyak knew was that in this world, no nation could hunt down a Feranmut without paying a devastating price.

As if relieved, Ho'olheyak looked at Garde with a gaze that now held a trace of grievance.

"Mr. Garde, you really kept me in the dark... After all those days of sharing a bed, you still didn't tell me your true identity. Were you afraid I'd leak your secret?"

Ho'olheyak moved closer to Garde, her plump, curvy body almost pressing against his.

From the corner of her eye, she glanced at Ishar'mla, who sat silently at the edge of the bed, her expression unreadable.

"Or maybe," Ho'olheyak said, "you've already found a new lover and forgotten your old flame. You once said I was your type, remember?"

Ho'olheyak wasn't short, but standing next to Garde, she had to tilt her head up to see his current expression clearly.

"Yes, Miss Ho'olheyak. Your body is unforgettable. If the opportunity arises, I wouldn't mind savoring it again."

Faced with Ho'olheyak's provocation, Garde didn't hold back either.

He reached out toward Ho'olheyak, just as he had gripped her during those three unforgettable days and nights.

But this time, his hand caught only empty air.

"Mr. Garde, you're still as rough as ever. If you get the chance, I suggest taking a few elective courses in social etiquette, maybe you'll lose some of that savage nature,"

Ho'olheyak said, having just barely dodged his grasp.

Her heart was pounding faster, the thrill of provoking Garde, like dancing on the edge of a blade, was intoxicating to her.

Having used her Originium Arts to avoid his grasp, Ho'olheyak reappeared by the door.

Yet what really bothered her wasn't Garde's reaction, it was Ishar'mla's utter lack of response.

Even after Ho'olheyak had deliberately pressed herself against Garde, that white-haired, red-eyed woman remained completely indifferent.

Did she really not care if her man was being seduced by someone else?

Of course she cared.

If Garde wasted too much seed on other women and didn't have enough left for her, Ishar'mla would absolutely mind.

So she carefully studied Ho'olheyak's figure.

"Does the hunter like this kind of type?"

Even with a reference point now, shaping a body — adjusting face and figure — was incredibly difficult for a Seaborn.

She had spent a long, long time crafting a body similar to Ishar'mla's appearance.

At the moment, she couldn't connect her consciousness with her true body. Otherwise, she would seriously consider evolving another kin with Ho'olheyak's kind of appearance to help her.

Because the hunter was simply too strong — she alone was not enough.

During those seven days, she had tried her very best to store as much seed as possible, even swallowing a good amount.

But there was just no way she could hold it all.

This left Ishar'mla both regretful and sad.

Without the help of her kin, would the hunter still be willing to mate with her?

Truthfully, Ishar'mla was a little worried.

Meanwhile, as Ho'olheyak and Garde spoke, the entire inn had been sealed off by thick layers of rock.

A soft rustling sound came from outside as a squad of soldiers in specialized powered exoskeletons entered the building.

In the adjacent rooms, the commotion woke the others.

Irene and Sideroca immediately grabbed their weapons. They didn't know who was attacking them, but they had no intention of surrendering without a fight.

In the last room, Dario, who had noticed they were being watched early on, kept monitoring the situation from the window.

He had a chance to warn Garde before the secret police finished gathering, but he hesitated, and ultimately chose to wait.

He believed Garde wouldn't be caught off guard.

If the secret police weren't after him, then they were definitely after Garde.

"Mr. Garde, what do you intend to do now?"

While keeping a safe distance, Ho'olheyak asked, watching him with an intrigued gaze.

She was dying to see how Garde would respond.

Even if he really was a Feranmut, surely he wouldn't openly challenge Columbia... right?

"What to do?"

Under Ho'olheyak's watchful eyes, Garde walked over to the window.

He stared at the rock wall outside, several meters thick.

Garde clenching his fist.

Bang!

The stone wall shattered into fragments, moonlight spilling into the room.

The crocodile man said naturally:

"I'm going to crush them all."
