When the Lord Bao made his request, Shuiyue and Jinghua nearly collapsed to the ground.
The two women quickly knelt down, kowtowing and begging for mercy.
"Lord Bao, please don't kill us."
But the Lord Bao did not respond, simply waiting for Luoyang to express his stance.
Luoyang found himself in a difficult position; he had previously vowed his loyalty to Lord Bao and now had to kill a beauty to prove it.
"Kill or not!" Lord Bao urged.
Seeing Shuiyue and Jinghua trembling, Luoyang walked over and helped them up.
He then returned to the bedside, sat down, and embraced Lord Bao.
"Madam Teng, if I even kill my own flesh and blood, I'd be worse than a beast," Luoyang stated bluntly.
"Then you're not loyal to me!" Lord Bao's murderous intent intensified.
At this point, if he backs down, one of Shuiyue and Jinghua will certainly die.
Seeing the despair in Shuiyue and Jinghua's eyes, Luoyang couldn't bear to stand by.
