Chapter 110 - Chapter 110 Start of the Show

The patrolling soldiers were chatting when something small caught their attention. A medium-sized white yacht floated slowly toward the island

A medium-sized white yacht slowly approached toward the island.

It didn't look like the boat's engine was on.

"Attention! This is a restricted military area! Do not come closer!" one soldier called out.

"First warning! Second..."

They looked at each other. There was no sign of any people on the boat, and no one responded to the warnings.

"Sink it."

The soldiers fired at the small boat. They were just following orders. If the boat carried something dangerous, they didn't want to risk it.

Some shots hit the boat and soon black smoke rose from the boat.

Boom!

The violent explosion turned the boat into metal fireworks over the water.

"All clear," one soldier said, but they didn't let their guard down. They grabbed their radios to report what happened.

"Sharp shooting, but not enough."

Before they could speak into the radio, hands wrapped around their necks. In a snap, both soldiers were on the ground, unconscious.

It wasn't a fatal attack.

The attacker wore a trench coat, cap, and mask, typical for someone sneaky.

"So quick, I didn't even need to do anything."

Footprints appeared in the mud, leading toward the shore.

It was Vill-V, the mastermind behind the night's attack. The small boat was just a distraction she had set up.

Vill-V used simple magic tricks to stay hidden and safe.

She called out, "So, mysterious stranger, want to help me make this night more fun?"

Vill-V, still in her trench coat and mask, removed her goggles and oxygen mask.

"Don't misunderstand, this is just how I work," said Orion, who stood nearby, not wanting to talk much.

"Haha, fine! Let's put on a good show!" Vill-V said, ignoring Orion's silence.

The island's buildings looked like a fancy resort, but inside, it was really a military base.

Suddenly, alarms blared. The base had detected the intruders.

"It's just us," Orion said, hands in his pockets, completely calm. Vill-V's eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Of course not! I've brought lots of 'props' to make this performance unforgettable."

Snap!

Vill-V snapped her fingers, and mechanical sounds came from the shore. As the tide rolled in, hundreds of small mechanical crabs climbed onto the beach.

These crabs had bionic legs, a spherical core, and were covered with assembly lines that looked like they could fire off weapons at any moment. Each one was about half a person in size.

It was impressive that Vill-V could create so many machines on her own.

"Let's go!" Vill-V said, leading the way. Without hesitation, she pulled out two massive weapons from under her coat.

Orion couldn't believe his eyes. "Where does she keep those hidden?"

He couldn't figure out how Vill-V managed to hide such large weapons under her coat. It reminded him of Natasha, who also pulled oversized weapons seemly from no where.

The mechanical crabs charged forward, reaching a tall metal gate. The gate, electrified and dangerous, looked like it could fry anyone who touched it.

But the crabs didn't hesitate. They slammed into the gate, sparks flying everywhere.

Vill-V wasn't worried. "Activate insulation mode!"

The crabs' metal legs retracted, and out came insulated supports, allowing them to pass through the electric gate without harm.

Orion was impressed. "Does she think of everything?"

Once through the gate, security lasers began firing at the intruders. Some of the crabs were quickly destroyed.

Orion watched, curious to see Vill-V's next move.

"Sheild mode, activate!" Vill-V shouted.

The crabs' cores glowed, and a diamond-shaped energy field surrounded them. The combined fields of all the crabs created a strong defense, causing the lasers' aim to shift and miss.

Orion couldn't help but ask, "How many modes did you program into these things?"

"Not that many," Vill-V replied. "Only about 60 emergency modes. I would've done 100 if I had more time."

Orion couldn't believe it. Vill-V had programmed nearly 100 modes into these small machines? Her talent was both amazing and terrifying.

For now, she was using regular materials available to anyone, but Orion wondered what she could accomplish with more advanced resources. He looked forward to seeing what she'd create next.
