The Thirteen Clans were divided into the Secret Party, Demon Party, and Neutral Party due to their differing ideologies.
The distinction among these parties lay in their approach to appearing in the world or hiding from it, as well as their attitudes towards humans.
The Secret Party lived peacefully, keeping out of worldly affairs, acquiring blood through trade with humans despite needing it as sustenance.
The Demon Party was the exact opposite, despising and resisting all of humanity, viewing humans as two-legged sheep—providers of blood.
Most of the Blood Clan members hunted down by the Exorcism Association previously were from the Demon Party, as well as a few renegades from the Neutral Party.
Since the Demon Party consisted of only two families, the Exorcism Association was able to stand against them.
But now, the Thirteen Clans had surprisingly eliminated their prejudices and united together.
