That afternoon the physician came to check if she was doing fine with the baby, with Lucia present in the room along with Vincent. Lucian was out and so was Delcrov, while Rosaline and Selene hadn't bother joining them,
"Is she fine, Mr Ferry?" Lucia asked staring at Sabrina who stared at the physician, hoping he won't find something unusual about her pregnancy,
The man smiled, "The baby is really healthy and so is it's mother, you have nothing to worry about, your highness,"
He said and soon left after giving her some medicines to take,
"Now you just have to stay in your room and rest, whatever it is that you need Aurora will get it for you," Lucia smiled sitting beside her on the bed,
"Thank you, milady," Sabrina smiled, she appreciated how caring the woman was towards her. In this castle only few people like her here,
"You don't need to thank me, dear. Get some rest, we will leave now," Lucia spoke getting up and turning to Vincent,
"Can I stay with her a bit, mother?" Vincent asked innocently
Lucia was going to protest when Sabrina spoke, "Can he stay? I would really like his company as I'm bored right now," she smiled
"Hmm okay, make sure not to trouble her okay Vincent?"
"I'm going to take care of her mother, you have nothing to worry about," he spoke with a wide smile on his face as he watch his mother leave,
"You may sit, Vince," Sabrina said with a chuckle, knowing how excited the little boy was about the baby,
Vincent sat cheerfully beside her at the spot his mother sat earlier, Sabrina was going to raise up when Vincent shook his head,
"Rest your head, aunty... I promised mother to take good care of you and my brother," he smiled even more and Sabrina couldn't help but chuckle,
"Brother? How are you sure that it's going to be a boy, Vince?" Sabrina asked with a grin.
They hadn't noticed another presence in the room, Lucian stood leaning against the wall at one side of the room, grinning.
"Well it must be. I only want a brother, a girl won't be able to play sword fight with me, or hide and seek, she's only going to care about her gowns, crowns and jewelries," Vincent said and Sabrina laughed, "She would be quite boring to hang out with,"
"I'm not boring, am I?" Sabrina asked with a grin and Vincent was quick to shake his head,
"No you are not, aunty,"
"And I'm a girl, so if it's a girl, she might like to play with you the way I do too, don't you think?"
"I think she is right, isn't she?" Lucian spoke, making his presence known and shocking both of them,
"How did you-"
"How are you feeling, darling?" He asked not caring that Vincent was in the room and she blushed,
"I'm fine,"
He nodded and took a seat on her other side that was vacant, she really want to get up now,
"Brother Lucian, don't you think it's going to be a boy?" Vincent asked him with a smile on his face,
"Hmm it could be, or not," he replied with a grin, "You want it to be a boy?" And Vincent nodded innocently,
"Then can you step out and maybe I and your lovely aunty is going to make sure it is," Lucian said and Sabrina's eye widen as her face turned red in colour, he was so shameless but Vincent didn't know what he really meant and was excited at the offer. He jumped up from the bed and nodded before walking out,
"You lied to him," Sabrina said sitting up now and facing him, who grinned
"He's good. Are you feeling okay?"
"I told you I was, please can you leave now so that I can take a rest," Sabrina said with a frown,
"Well I wasn't asking about you, I was asking about my baby how he's doing," Lucian said and Sabrina blushed one more time, it must be because of the pregnancy that she was blushing so much,
"Did Airen come visit?" Lucian asked
"No she didn't, It's been a while since have seen her and I miss her," Sabrina said worried,
"I'm sure she's fine and so is everyone there in Atlantis," Lucian said staring at her and she stared back, "I don't want you to go looking for them for the time being, Airen can come visit you here,"
"Why can't I? I won't be harmed in my own kingdom,"
"It's not a request, sprout, it's an order," he glared at her
"Well you can't order me around, I am not your property, I am your wife, I have the right to do whatever it is I wan-"
"Don't test my patient, sprout, do as I say and we will be good okay?" He stared emotionless at him
"In your dreams-"
She couldn't complete it as Lucian hovered over her, staring coldly at her,
"I don't tolerate disobedience. You won't be stepping out of this mansion if not with me, Theodore will make sure of it, so you know that you are being watched so don't even think of acting funny," he grinned coldly, Sabrina shivered, "Because it won't be funny at all," he got up and smiled before walking out of the room, Sabrina sighed staring at the door, guess she should try summoning her,
In another part of the mansion, in Rosaline's room, sat both Rosaline and Selene, they were having blood tea,
"I can't believe brother would have a thing with that bitch," Selene spoke annoyed, while Rosaline stared into space, Selene looked at her and spoke, "Won't we do something about it?"
Rosaline turned to look at her, she didn't need to do anything about it, the witches will, she was sure they will even before she's able to give birth to her baby, "We don't have to do anything, Selene. Let's leave the dirty work for the peasants," she grinned while Selene looked confused,
"Peasants?" Selene questioned, "What are you talking about?"
Rosaline explained how Sabrina wasn't human but a queen mermaid, who is being hunted down by witches and a sorceress mermaid and how she's going to help them get her and so they don't have to worry about the baby because they will kill both mother and child, Selene grinned after listening to her talk,
"I am indeed shocked but I shouldn't, I always knew she was nothing but a monster, but still Rosaline... We can't trust that those witches would be able to do that task right,"
"What are you saying, Selene?" Rosaline asked with one brow raised up,
"We should do something..... We can kill her and her unborn baby ourself, we don't need the witches," Selene said deep in thought,
"What do you think we should do then? That won't get us caught," Rosaline asked her with a frown on her face,
"Poison her along with her baby," Selene finally said and Rosaline gasped,
"How can that be? The maid is always with her now and she won't accept to do the job if we asked or even bribed her," Rosaline said with a deep frown,
"Leave that to me, Rose," Selene grinned before summoning a maid.
