Leila's POV:
I woke up late in the morning, every muscle sore from the ravenous adventures I'd shared with my mate. The memories of last night sent a shiver down my spine, but I smiled when I noticed Drake had already prepared a hot bath for me. The scent of lavender and warmth of the steam filled the room, a welcome relief after everything we'd done. As I stretched and turned to leave the bed, Drake appeared, his lips pressing softly against mine in a lingering good morning kiss.
"Already awake, beautiful?" he whispered, his voice dripping with that teasing tone I'd come to recognize.
Before I could respond, he leaned in, his hands already wandering to my waist, his intentions unmistakable. "I think we could make this morning even better than last night," he murmured against my skin.
I laughed, shoving him back playfully. "You're too horny for my own good," I teased, shaking my head at his audacity. His lips twisted into a pout, but there was a mischievous glint in his eyes.
