Whoosh—! Whoosh—!
Warm water rained down from the showerhead, drenching Haru and Arcueid.
Her brilliant golden hair was soaked, and her pristine white princess dress, under the stream of water, slowly became transparent.
The warm water made Arcueid shiver, and her pale, slender arms tightened their grip around Haru's neck.
"Mmm~~ Mmm!!!"
Muffled whimpers escaped her snow-white throat. Like a parched land receiving a long-awaited rain, the eight-hundred-year-suppressed bloodlust erupted.
Arcueid bit down hard on Haru's neck, drinking ferociously, as if trying to make up for eight hundred years of deprivation.
"Easy, easy..." Haru, exceptionally calm, held Arcueid with his right hand, his left skillfully lathering and washing his own body.
Compared to Arcueid, who still retained a shred of reason, a sliver of self-control, Altrouge, fully conscious when she fed, was the truly insane one, drinking with all her might.
Thanks to her, Haru was already accustomed to this… bathing-while-being-fed-upon routine.
It seemed the sisters were alike in this regard; once they started drinking, they were completely oblivious to everything else.
"Probably won't stop for another three hours. Oh well, might as well wash her too. She's already soaked." His fingers traced a line down Arcueid's back, and the pristine white dress, under his sharp nails, offered no resistance.
Rip—!
The torn dress slid down Arcueid's pale, smooth skin, pooling on the bathroom floor.
Slap! Slap!
Haru alternately caressed and slapped Arcueid's pert rear, but the True Ancestor princess, clinging to him like a koala, was completely oblivious, her entire being focused on drinking.
After a moment of enjoying the astonishing softness, Haru, his expression calm, reached for the shower gel, lathered it up, and began to spread it over his and Arcueid's bodies.
White foam spread over their forms, and soon, they were both covered in bubbles.
Next, Haru reached for the shampoo. He squinted at the waist-length golden hair, his tone exasperated. "This is going to be a hard..."
Compared to the short hair common among men, a woman's long, straight hair was exceptionally difficult to wash. The longer the hair, the more difficult the task.
Especially waist-length hair. Though beautiful to look at, washing it properly would take at least two hours.
However, Haru's expression remained calm. He skillfully worked his fingers through the soft, golden locks, a technique honed through countless experiments on Altrouge.
Though there were simple, quick cleaning spells, Haru preferred to bathe and soak. The reason was simple: there was always a girl to keep him company…
A snap of the fingers, or running his fingers through a girl's body—the choice was obvious.
After a thorough triple-wash, Haru patted her smooth back and, holding Arcueid, stepped under the showerhead's dozens of streams.
Splish~ splash! Splish~ splash!
Foamy water trickled down, pattering softly on the floor.
"All done!" Haru, finished with the cleaning, turned off the shower and, with a soft snap of his fingers, instantly dried the water from their bodies.
Next, Haru carried Arcueid to the bed and, with a soft thud, laid her down in a spread-eagle position on the soft mattress.
"It's 6 AM, and you still haven't let go," Haru said, caressing Arcueid's smooth back, inhaling the fragrant scent of her, a mix of shower gel and girl, his tone exasperated.
Haru knew the allure of his blood to a True Ancestor. The life force of the earth was a potent, side-effect-free drug to these nature spirits.
Otherwise, Altrouge wouldn't have so readily submitted to him after drinking his blood. Dangle an endless supply of drugs in front of a severe addict—the effect was simply devastating.
"Mmm… your blood… is so…" Arcueid's muffled reply came. In a corner Haru couldn't see, Arcueid's golden eyes began to glow with an iridescent light.
"Well then, I should collect some payment, right?" Haru shifted his body, aligning himself.
"What… are you… saying?" A heavily nasal voice sounded in his ear.
Haru thrust his hips forward, breaking through a membrane, and reached the clouds.
"Ooh!!!!" Arcueid instantly released her mouth, her body arching, trembling uncontrollably.
Her dazzlingly iridescent eyes widened in surprise, and a proud voice sounded in Haru's ear. "What have you done?"
"You're acting strange today. Is it the bloodlust? Why are you suddenly talking so formally?" Haru, confused, reached out with his dragon claw, grasping her soft flesh, and began to knead.
"How… how dare you do this to me! Even if your… blood…" Arcueid's voice was clipped, her tone scolding.
"Oh? Feisty today, are we, little dummy?" Haru wrapped his arms around Arcueid's waist, flipped her over, pinning her beneath him, and grinned wickedly.
"Looks like I'll have to make you cry today!"
———
The orange glow of dusk streamed through the bedroom window.
Haru slowly opened his eyes. Before him was a beautiful face, so close he could see the iridescent light in her golden eyes. "What time is it?" he asked, his voice groggy.
"According to the moon's reply to me, it should be 6:10, young man~" Arcueid said, her expression coquettish.
"You've been acting strange since this morning, Arcueid…" Haru rubbed the back of his head, looking at Arcueid with bewilderment, until he saw her dazzlingly iridescent eyes.
"Divine rainbow eyes?" Haru stared, dumbfounded, at her eyes.
"You recognize me?" The Crimson Moon's lips curved upwards into a dangerous arc. She chuckled softly.
"Last night… that was you?" Haru's lip twitched as he questioned the Crimson Moon. His mind felt like it had been trampled by a hundred thousand alpacas, a mix of shock and stimulation.
The arc of the Crimson Moon's lips became even more dangerous, her iridescent golden eyes tinged with a faint killing intent. "You did very well, didn't you? Very well indeed."
The next moment, an invisible restraining force enveloped the Crimson Moon. Simultaneously, the Sword of Salvation was pressed against her neck.
The Crimson Moon raised an eyebrow, her face darkening. "A divine artifact that targets the planet... Gaia and that damn Alaya!!!"
"Ooh!!" The Crimson Moon let out a sharp grunt, her expression suddenly strange. She looked down at Little Haru, still moving in and out, and looked at Haru with surprise. "You're not afraid of death?"
"As if you could kill me," Haru said, brandishing the Sword of Salvation, his tone flippant.
Though the Crimson Moon was strong, likely even stronger than him based on her aura... But they were on Earth—
—And in his hand was a Divine Sword that could convert the planet's life force into an attack.
"How about a deal?" Haru grinned, a wicked smile on his face.
