Keru walked there for a while and finally decided to take the risk of making a call.
He was now in the headquarters military district, where all outgoing signals could be captured.
Although their calls were encrypted and others couldn't capture what was said, the signal source could still be traced.
The phone rang twice, and someone on the other end picked up.
"Why are you calling now?" said the person on the other side; it was the rebel leader, Ryan.
"Have you found the spy I mentioned last time?" Keru whispered.
After all, this was a dangerous matter, and even though he was in his own room, he was cautious to keep his voice as low as possible.
"We've found him. Xiao Wu was the spy, and he's been dealt with," Ryan said.
"I suspect you all have been exposed," Keru said.
"Impossible," Ryan asserted, "I've investigated all of Xiao Wu's communication devices through various channels, and he never left here."
"Could you have caught the wrong person?" Keru asked.
