Wang Li's team was already in disarray; Ivan asked them to hold for ten minutes, but they lasted barely three.
At the beginning, Wang Li was sworn, saying ten minutes, even twenty minutes, would not be a problem.
But now they didn't want to defend even one minute longer. Whatever happens, happens, survival is the priority.
The others behind were even more desperate, throwing down their helmets and weapons, crawling towards the back empty-handed.
Luckily, no one chased them; if even one person did, they might all be wiped out.
With Ivan's side, when he saw the time was precisely eight o'clock, he led two men and charged in.
Now with Wang Li's team attracting fire, Ivan successfully infiltrated part of the fortifications. But within three minutes, the firepower from that side weakened.
And in the dark, judging from the bullet directions, they were only shooting outwards, not inwards.
In other words, Wang Li's team had already given up.
