Zhang Lianmei saw Lin Kuang off from Eagle Company. She only left after watching him get into his car.
Driving away, Lin Kuang hurried toward Liu Shilin's home.
A few dozen minutes later, Lin Kuang returned to the manor. The heavily damaged Mercedes was gone from the driveway, and both Liu Shilin and the Witch were out.
"Where did Shilin and the Witch go?" Lin Kuang asked one of the two bodyguards, his curiosity piqued.
"The young miss and the second young miss seem to have gone car shopping. They drove the damaged one away," the bodyguard replied respectfully.
Lin Kuang nodded. "Oh, I see."
With that, he went back to his room and placed the JS sniper rifle under his bed. He couldn't help but check the time. It was already past eleven in the morning, nearly noon, and he was starting to feel hungry.
