Thanatos froze as he stared at the figure that once was Jack.
For a brief second, he thought it was still him, until that feeling vanished.
The person who he had seen wasn't Jack anymore.
The existence inside that body was something else entirely.
He felt his heart drop.
Thanatos turned to break through the barrier of the Complete World and go to Jack, but Ilyana's hand caught his arm.
"Come with me!" she shouted.
"What are you saying…? Can't you see that thing isn't Jack anymore!? If we waste time now, I might never bring him back—"
"Stop losing your sense of priority!" Ilyana's voice cracked as she pulled at his arm. "The Stage 6 Gods that attacked you will move in a few seconds. Just come with me!"
Thanatos hesitated.
Ilyana's eyes were wet, her voice trembling.
