Both Luca and Finn turned to the source of the voice, and they could see someone coming out of the previously closed door. There was only one door in the basement, and that was where the old laboratory was. They were both surprised to see Jamie suddenly come out of it with an unreadable expression on his face.
Finn shifted to Luca's side, and Jamie stopped walking when he was only three feet away from the two young men.
"No matter what happens, you can't go to the White Dome," Jamie firmly repeated what he said while staring at the black-haired man.
It seemed like the older man was so firm and wouldn't take "no" for an answer at all, and Luca was quite surprised because the man had never looked so firm in front of him before.
Jamie used to be playful and not serious, but the man was enveloped in an unfamiliar atmosphere right now, and Luca even felt uncomfortable because of it.
