Chapter 5 - The Five Clan

The morning sun spread soft light over Zeon Academy. The city looked calm, peaceful, ordinary. But Leo knew better.

He walked through the school gates like any other student, smiling at classmates, greeting teachers, laughing with Zao Chen. To the outside world, he seemed normal. But beneath his calm expression, something had changed. His movements were confident, controlled. His mind was alert, sharp, ready for anything. Some classmates noticed a subtle difference, but no one understood why. His red eyes flickered faintly under his hair—a secret he alone carried.

Far away, the Tang Family household was tense. Weng Tang, their golden-haired heir, had been killed. The Tang Family head's face was tight with fury, pride and honor broken. Warriors and servants moved cautiously around him. Every shadow seemed alive with anger. Plans for revenge already formed in his mind.

News of Weng Tang's death reached the other four great families: Qin, Chen, Luo, and Yu. Each family gathered their elders quietly in their homes. No alliances were formed. Each family would act alone, in its own way.

High in the snow-covered mountains, the Qin family lived in a large home surrounded by cold air and quiet snow. Inside, the elders gathered, sitting together in a circle, their faces calm but serious. At the center stood the Qin family head, Linger's father. His voice was soft, gentle, yet full of authority

He looked at his daughter, Qin Linger, standing straight and attentive. White skin, long white hair, and deep blue eyes that shone like moonlight. She was beautiful, calm, but her gaze held determination.

Linger," he said softly, "I want you to find out who killed Weng Tang. Move carefully, quietly. Watch everything, and return safely. I trust you."

Linger bowed slightly. "I understand, Father. I will not fail.

A quiet breeze seemed to flow through the room, carrying the elders' silent support. Linger's eyes glimmered with resolve. I will not fail, she whispered to herself.

In the heart of the city, the Chen family gathered in their home. Warm light filled the rooms from the braziers along the walls. The elders sat together, serious but calm. Energy seemed to vibrate in the air.

The family head spoke softly to the advisers, "Find out who killed Weng Tang. Use every resource. Nothing must escape our notice."

On a small hill overlooking the city, the Luo family gathered in their home. Inside, the elders' faces were firm, focused. The air was filled with quiet tension.

The head said calmly, "We must see if this person is dangerous. Prepare our strongest warriors. Nothing less.

By the river, the Yu family sat quietly in their tall house. Objects floated gently in the rooms, responding to the family's will. Power was present, but controlled, a warning to anyone who might challenge them.

The head spoke softly, "Observe first. Do not act yet. Watch carefully who dares disturb the balance."

Each family would act alone. No cooperation. But all understood one truth: whoever killed Weng Tang was dangerous. Bold. Strong. Skilled.

Back at Zeon Academy, Leo and Zao moved among their classmates like nothing had happened. They laughed, joked, acted normal. But Leo's mind was far from calm. He knew the Tang Family would seek revenge. And now, the other four families were beginning to notice a powerful new presence.

Let them come, he thought, eyes narrowing. I am ready for all of them.

The day seemed calm, peaceful even. But beneath the surface, a storm was quietly forming. Leo's revenge had begun, and no one would escape the ripples it created.
