This dark world of sand, rock, of cold night and hot days is a unique one. I've catalogued other worlds with high Dark Force Energy levels, but none have been as strong as Korriban. The planet smells of hostility and life pulses with fury.
The evolution that happens on this world is extremely violent and bloody. However, it is still natural and follows an order. No matter how chaotic it may look superficially. Every creature is dangerous. This is because only dangerous things can survive on this planet.
Every adaptation is geared towards killing another before another kills you. The species here have high reproductive rates too. Which makes sure that the species that rise and fall are truly deserving of it.
The great expanses filled with little also have their own mysteries. The planet hums into the mind. Trying to plant ferocious thoughts and bring a being into its natural ways. It is no wonder that Sith can grow so strong here. There ways are a reflection of the planet. The strongest of them surpassing nature, learning control over oneself. Rather than following the way of Korriban. This trait of self-control is shared among the Darth and all truly powerful Lords. As it takes a certain amount of power for them to realize the controlling influence the planet has on their actions and behaviors.
I had gotten maps of the planet beforehand. Even raided every library in the capital and wherever else they existed. As few existed, which is no great surprise considering the type of civilization this is.
Through my wilderness exploration, I found many tombs, buried ancient cities, and temples previously unknown. Take my current situation. I'm a 300 meters underground in a cavernous space and fighting a reawakened old god of Korriban. Completely intentional at that. I typically do this. If the god is civil, we have a long and enjoyable conversation. If the god is hostile, as in the current case. I wack them until they become civil or die.
This god I'm smacking around right now is an ancient and primitive deity. Simple too. It takes living sacrifices to add to its strength. Sharing scraps of that converting power with its believers/minions. It is intelligent enough to communicate what it wants and deliver threats, but too dumb to actually converse with. It is very barbaric. The ATLAS Staff is now in a fighting staff form rather than having the floating red orb on one end. Allows for a balanced weapon that can smack and wack with cool spins. Very fun.
[Hermes, the integrity of the Force entity is decreasing. With no physical body, your blows are distorting its form. It will soon be unable to hold itself together and return into being a menacing voice that whispers murder in the ear.]
"Ah, thanks for the reminder ATLAS. I don't want it to disappear on me. I want to capture it and add it to my collection. Although not a god with divinity, it can be put into the fake god section of the collection."
[Understood Hermes, I'll prepare a space for it. This will be the 8th fake god from this galaxy you've captured. The 3rd you've gotten from this planet. Korriban is a hotspot for violent fake gods.]
I give the smoky red fake god a final downward smack on the head and toss an orb at it's feet. A green suction force is emitted, and the fake god is sucked in with a wail.
"Another fake god for the collection. How nice. Scan for another point of interest and mark it for me ATLAS."
With my now extensive base network across the galaxy, I have more than enough storage space to capture a million fake gods. I don't think that many hostile fakes still exist though. Many are civil enough to leave alone.
[New point of interest located. Optically invisible mountain detected. Humongous biological lifeform detected inside.]
A native titan in an invisible mountain? How interesting...
