Two men faced each other on horseback both with a jousting lance in their respective right hands.
The flags waved and they charged toward each other.
Then the light of the sun Reflected off the armour and into the eyes of the other knight causing him to look away, lance withdrawn, The other knight who had the advantage pulled the lance away.
Arther got of his horse and took off his helm and marched straight to sir Leon saying, " why did you pull out? I was wide open you could have unhorsed me."
" I was fearful that I might injure you, sire."
" you HAD the advantage you can't afford to hesitate like that."
" I wouldn't done if I were facing a different opponent."
Leon immediately regretted saying that after seeing the look in Arthur's face, he looked insulted.
Sir Leon then tryed to make logical argument as to why that was the case.
" You are the future king, my Lord."
Then Arther said as if he recalled something, " You jousted against me in the tournament last year. Are you saying you let me win?"
"…No, my Lord." But the hesitation before he spoke and the look in his eye gave the truth away.
Arthur, then gave a speech to Leon and all the other knights that had gathered around and told them how didn't matter who he was, he expected to be treated no different than any other opponent.
Meanwhile Taylor who was seated in the stands was thoroughly enjoying himself, as he watched Arther storm off with Merlin in tow.
' Well I wonder if there will be any thing different with me being present.' Taylor thought knowing the excuse and plan Arther was going to make.
That night while Taylor was in his room eating dinner, when one of the Five knights named sir Conrad informed Taylor that The king requires his knowledge.
Upon arriving Taylor noticed that The number of guards was quite light in number only 4, and upon entering the only ones there was Uther, Arther and Merlin.
Then Uther spoke to him, " As much as I detest being in your presence, it seems I have need of your knowledge on magic and sorcery."
" And what would you like to know Uther?" Taylor said without hiding his smirk
" It has Come to my attention that there may be a magical creature at our northern border, does it have any relation to you or your group?"
" Nope all our magical beast stay firmly within a special sanctuary, but what does this magic beast look like?"
Uther looks over to Arther expecting him to repeat what he reported to him.
Arthur gave a cough and then repeated what he said to Uther, " it is said to have the body of a lion, the wings of an eagle and the face of a bear."
Taylor made eye to eye contact with Arther in order to make sure that Arther knew that he knew that he was bullshiting.
Then Taylor spoke to Uther, " yes, sounds like a magical beast conjured using an imaginam class spell, but don't worry such beasts always have the same weakness, stab it through the left eye and it will die."
Then Taylor left and walked until he arrived in front of Arthur's chambers he then waited outside Arthur's chambers.
50 minutes later both Arther and Merlin arrived.
Taylor looked over and said, " I might not know why you lied Arther, but I do know that you did, and now you owe me a favour." And before Arthur or Merlin could say anything Taylor went on his way.
The next day Arther 'left' and Merlin came back from the same direction with someone in tow.
Meanwhile Uther Learned that an assassin by the name of Myror has accepted a bounty that has been put on Arther's head.
…
Taylor was with Morgana on one of their usual outings with 10 knights in tow with sir Conrad leading from the front.
" So Morgana, what would you like to do today?"
" Well if I may be so bold, I would enjoy a picnic with you today."
" Well that sounds like a great plan, Would you like a magic one or a magical one?"
"Would there be any difference?" Asked Morgana.
" There is a great difference. So which do you want?"
Thinking for a moment Morgana answered, " A magical picnic that is my choice."
" Very well, All I ask is that you stay with the knights outside the forest, and I shall call for you when it is ready."
Choosing to trust Taylor Morgana stayed outside the forest upon their arrival also ordering the 10 knights to stay with her while they waited for Taylor to prepare whatever it is he's meant to prepare.
Taylor entered deep into the forest and opened his bag of holding that he always has with him, Taylor took out a variety of items, food, blankets, pillows ect.
Taylor then arranged the tree branches, the leafs in the canopy and the land in beautiful environmental harmony, all this by physical hand.
By the time he had finished 2 hours had passed, Taylor then called for Morgana.
After arriving Morgana was amazed, the last time a forest looked so magical was when she was a young child, and now the forest around them looked like it left the realm of normality and entered the realm of the magical.
Even the knights could not believe how the land looked.
" What magic did you use to make it look this beautiful?" Morgana asked with wonder in her voice.
" None, I used no magic for this, for the difference between magic and magical is the lack of magic being used in the creation of something magical." At least that is what Taylor believes.
" So you just made this without the help of any magic?"
" Essentially." Although not completely truthful as he had used the bag of holding but the bag itself did not contribute to making the area feel magical.
Taylor and Morgana enjoyed a magical picnic while the knights stayed at a distance as the knights have begun to offer their trust that Taylor will not do anything untoward Morgana.
…
The next day in the stands that were full of spectators Taylor sat right beside Guinevere who was sat next to Morgana who was in the royal seating area, on the right side if you were to look directly at the stands.
Then under the sound of trumpets Uther entered from the left side of the stands and then the knights entered with their horses lining up in front of the stands.
Then Uther spoke, "Knights of the realm, welcome to Camelot. You've trained many years for this day.….. and your skill to the test."
" Today, you will fight for glory and for honour. For this is The ultimate test of courage. It will be the measure of you as men. Only the most skilful, The most fearless among you, will emerge, as a worthy champion."
The crowd cheered at the end of Uther's speech and the trumpet sounded once more for the knights to return to their tents waiting for their call to face their opponent.
Then the trumpets would sound in bursts to signify which two knights would be facing each other.
Soon the trumpet sounded four times, and the two knights arrived to their respective ends of the field.
The knight on the far right was one Taylor didn't remember the name of but the one on the far left would not leave his mind anytime soon because while the knights we're listening to Uther's speech that knight couldn't get his horse to stay still for the life of him, but now his control over the horse was masterful.
Then Taylor looked over to Guinevere and noticed how she kept her eyes on that knight clapping for his arrival so Taylor asked, " Has sir William caught your eye Gwen?"
" Oh no, nothing like that. I just like supporting the apparent underdogs."
" hmm… underdog is it." Then Taylor whispered into her ear so no one else could hear, " Are you sure it's not because that's Prince Arthur?"
Startled, Guinevere tried to deny it but after realising that the jig was up at least in front of Taylor, Guinevere asked how he realised.
" While it isn't exactly obvious, but to someone like me who understands the art of riding I can notice all the subtlety's of how a rider talks to their mount, how the rider show their trust to their mount and how the mount show their trust to the rider."
" It's a very personal thing, even if there are many similarities between how riders show their trust, it'll always feel unique, and the way that knight is trusting his horse, That's how Arthur does it."
Noticing that both of the knights are ready, Taylor and Guinevere stopped talking and watched.
When the flag was waved the match begin.
The two knights aimed their lances towards each other and charged
The sound of the horses running was like the sound of thunder and both the knights could feel the force of the wind on their body.
Then within seconds "William's" lance landed squarely on his opponents left shoulder knocking him completely off his horse.
And the crowd cheered very loudly.
Then when "William" knocked his fourth opponent off his horse their right arm and right leg was still attached to the saddle and got dragged along the ground.
Taylor noticed that Morgana was fairly shocked seeing how long the knight got dragged along by his horse.
Then Taylor noticed that in the stands opposite the one he sat in, was a man with a skin complexion equally as dark a Guinevere and no hair on his head, but what stood out most to Taylor was how his eyes scanned not only the knights but also the crowd and the knights attendings.
Taylor then used his eye of questioned truth to confirm his assumption as to who he is.
' What is that man's most well known name?'
[ Myror.]
' Indeed Arther's assassin is here looking for him.'
Taylor had another choice to make, kill the assassin before they could do anything or let him meet his destined end.
