Maverick lay on the bed, face buried in a pillow, his voice muffled as he muttered, "Do whatever you want…"
His face, flushed a deep crimson, was barely visible before he turned again, hiding completely under the pillow.
Julius couldn't help the soft chuckle that escaped him. There was something strangely endearing about Maverick's adorable side.
"I'll slap you if you're laughing at me," Maverick grumbled from under the pillow.
Julius chuckled silently behind Maverick' back then shifted closer, lowering himself until his face hovered just above Maverick's back.
Sensing movement, Maverick lifted his head slightly, thinking Julius had withdrawn.
But before he could speak, a sudden jolt of sensation coursed through him, and a sharp gasp escaped his lips.
