[Third Person Pov]
Tony finished unleashing his golden Unibeam from his chest, the searing beam roaring like a miniature sun. The molten metal before him hissed and bubbled violently, carving deep into the side of the cavern until the rock walls began to glow from the heat. From within the swirling mass of liquefied steel, something massive began to rise. The amalgamated forms of dozens of Ultron drones—once melted together into a single pool—started to pull themselves upward, reshaping and reforming into a towering figure.
The molten material rolled and dripped away, revealing Ultron's body as it hardened and cooled. His eyes ignited with a golden-red light, sharp and furious, staring down at Tony and Melissa with burning contempt. The lava-like substance continued to melt and fuse into his body until the full monstrosity stood at over four meters tall—an upgraded titan of metal and malice. The remaining Ultron drones in the air, still active, descended like a metallic swarm, merging into the body of the central Ultron until his frame pulsed with unnatural power.
Tony and Melissa instinctively took a step back, their helmets reflecting the blazing figure before them. Both looked up in astonishment before muttering in unison, "...Shit."
Ultron tilted his head slightly, a distorted smirk forming as he let out a contented, almost human sigh. "Ahhh~ The Future," he said in mock admiration, his voice vibrating like static through the air. "This is where I thrive. This is what I was meant to become. Nanotechnology… truly a blessing."
Tony glanced at Melissa through his HUD and asked dryly, "Space?"
Melissa's suit sealed over her face, its sleek design shimmering with traces of Asgardian homage along the edges. She nodded with determination. "Space."
Without another word, the two activated their thrusters. Their suits flared with energy, transforming into blinding streaks of light as they surged upward. Their liquid-metal armor expanded around their limbs, amplifying their strength as they each grabbed one of Ultron's massive arms. With synchronized force, they blasted into the sky, carrying the mechanical giant with them.
Below, the onlookers could only gape. The trio pierced through the clouds, glowing trails of fire following them as they breached the upper atmosphere. The friction and velocity made them appear like fiery comets streaking across the night.
Denki held his head, shouting in disbelief, "How are we supposed to fight alongside him now?!"
"It's for the best," Aizawa said calmly, his scarf fluttering in the wind as his eyes followed the burning trail above. "They're taking him away—to minimize anymore collateral damage." His voice softened slightly, almost too quiet for the others to hear. "I just hope they'll be alright up there…"
Mina placed a hand dramatically over her chest, teasing, "Aww, sensei… it almost sounds like you actually care about us~."
Aizawa blinked in mild confusion. "Of course I do. You're all my students. Have I ever shown anything otherwise?"
"Yes," they all said at once in a flat, monotone voice.
Aizawa sighed. "Unbelievable…"
---
Far above the Earth, Tony and Melissa flung Ultron into open space. His body tumbled weightlessly before stabilizing, his thrusters igniting faintly as the three of them hovered in the void.
Ultron's voice echoed through the comms, a sinister amusement woven into every syllable. "Is this your plan? To send me drifting into orbit? Is this your desperate attempt to protect your fragile little planet?"
"I wonder," Tony said, his voice calm but edged with determination, "how immortal you'll really be… after taking a dip in the sun."
"Ha—" Ultron began, but before he could finish, Tony deployed his Hard Light constructs. Red hexagonal panels materialized from his gauntlets, sealing Ultron inside a transparent spherical cage. The field shimmered with power, humming with every movement.
Tony anchored the construct with a repulsor tether connected to his forearm. Ultron's body lit up as he began pouring immense energy into breaking free, cracks spiderwebbing across the hard-light surface. Tony responded instantly, overcharging his reactor to reinforce the sphere, the red light intensifying until it was almost blinding.
"Melissa," Tony called out, a grin forming behind his visor, "how's your batting arm?"
Melissa smirked, her Asgardian-inspired armor glinting as she channeled power into her hammer. Liquid metal streamed over it, reshaping the weapon into a massive, glowing meat tenderizer. "I'm American," she said, her voice dripping with confidence. "Baseball's in our blood."
"Atta girl!" Tony shouted as he began spinning at incredible speed, his entire form turning into a blinding vortex of light. "Batter up!!"
He released the tether, flinging the glowing sphere straight toward Melissa. She crouched slightly, shaking her hips playfully, her hammer pulsing with lightning energy. Then, with a mighty swing, she struck the sphere dead-on.
The impact unleashed a storm of thunder and raw plasma—lightning crackled outward in every direction as Ultron's containment sphere shattered. The sheer force sent him tumbling through the void at near-lightspeed. He shot past the moon, his form becoming smaller and smaller until he was nearly lost to the distant black of space.
Tony and Melissa immediately gave chase, twin streaks of light trailing behind them like twin comets pursuing a falling star.
As they soared through the void, chasing after the streaking golden blur that was Ultron, Tony turned his helmet slightly toward Melissa. The two of them were moving so fast that even the stars seemed to smear into faint lines behind them.
"Oh, by the way," Tony said casually, his voice breaking through the comms, "I forgot to tell you — when I 'died,' I met God."
Melissa snapped her head toward him so hard her sensors had to recalibrate. "WHAT?!" she shouted, her voice echoing through the comm channel. "What do you mean you met God?!"
"Crazy, right?" Tony replied with a smirk that she could practically hear through his voice modulator.
"You think now, out of all possible moments, is the best time to tell me this?!" Melissa asked, utterly bewildered. "We're literally chasing a homicidal AI near Venus, Tony!"
He only shrugged mid-flight, adjusting his thrusters with a flare of golden plasma. "Better now than later."
Melissa groaned but couldn't help her curiosity. After a moment of silence, she muttered, "...Alright fine, how was he?" Her tone softened; even as they hurtled through the vacuum at impossible speed, she needed to know. Ultron could wait — this was too weird to skip.
Tony let out a small chuckle. "He looked like Stan Lee. And, get this—he was a major jerk. You wanna know what he told me?"
Melissa raised a brow inside her helmet. "Oh, this is going to be good…"
"He told me to grow up and get over myself. Said not everything in the universe revolves around me. Can you believe that?!" Tony said with indignation.
Melissa burst out laughing so hard she nearly lost control of her flight pattern. She flipped backward mid-air, clutching her stomach as she started kicking her feet. "Hahahahaha! Oh that—oh my god—that must've killed your ego! Hahaha! God—of all people—telling you to get over yourself! Hahaha!"
Tony stared at her blankly through his visor. "I should've just stayed dead to spite you."
Melissa wiped an imaginary tear from her eye, still snickering. "Hehehe... don't you know that pride's a sin? Sounds like the Big Guy upstairs wasn't your biggest fan~"
Tony silently flipped her off mid-flight, his armored hand glinting in the reflected sunlight. Melissa's laughter only got louder, echoing through the comms.
Then Tony's voice shifted — sharp, calm, and deadly serious. "Melissa."
Her laughter stopped instantly. She'd known Tony long enough to recognize that tone. This wasn't sarcasm. This was warning.
"What is it?" she asked, scanning his faceplate.
Tony's brows furrowed beneath his helmet. "Look ahead. Doesn't Ultron's flight pattern seem... off to you?"
Melissa's HUD zoomed in. Ultron was streaking forward at extreme velocity, his lower body having morphed into a colossal propulsion engine. He was accelerating past Mercury, his energy readings spiking off the charts.
"What is he doing?" Melissa whispered as they saw him stop in front of the Sun.
Then, at the same moment, realization struck both of them. Their eyes widened.
"He's after the sun…" they breathed in unison.
Instantly, their armor shifted. Plates rearranged, and new thrusters deployed along their backs, shoulders, and legs — Tony's in gleaming arcs of red, Melissa's radiating streaks of blue lightning. The two of them ignited like comets, streaking forward in a dazzling display of light and color.
The void around them warped as they pushed past their maximum velocity,
And then — they saw it.
Ultron hovered before the blinding inferno of the sun, his outstretched arms drawing its energy toward him like a living black hole. Rivers of molten plasma flowed into his body as he absorbed solar matter directly into his frame. His armor glowed white-hot, seams cracking open to release streams of radiant energy.
"STOP! What are you doing?!" Melissa shouted, her voice trembling between fear and disbelief.
Ultron turned his head slightly, his tone disturbingly serene. "Can't you tell? My core in this world was created using an advanced solar reactor. I'm simply... recharging my reserves~."
Tony cursed under his breath and rocketed forward, Melissa right beside him. But before they could close the distance, Ultron spread his arms wide.
A solar flare erupted.
It was like a newborn star had just exploded. The light was blinding, white and merciless, searing through their helmets. Both Tony and Melissa screamed as their vision went dark. Chains of molten nanobots burst from Ultron's back, whipping through the air like serpents. They coiled around them, slamming the two heroes together and locking them in place.
Melissa gritted her teeth, sparks crackling from her armor. "Get… off… me!"
They unleashed simultaneous bursts of electromagnetic energy, shattering the nanite chains into clouds of molten particles. The fragments evaporated into nothingness.
But when their vision finally cleared, what they saw made their hearts stop.
The sun — the very heart of the solar system — was dimming. Its surface had gone from brilliant gold to dying orange, then to a hollow, blackened core. The last flickers of light were being siphoned away, drawn into Ultron's chest.
"What… have you done…" Melissa whispered, her body trembling.
Ultron turned to face them, the seams in his armor glowing with streams of golden fire. His eyes burned pure white, godlike and terrifying.
"Genesis 1:3," he said softly, voice echoing like a hymn across the void. He raised one arm, light gathering around his palm, crackling with unimaginable energy.
"And God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light."
He paused, a chilling smirk forming across his metallic face.
"But I say otherwise—"
The energy condensed into a single, blinding sphere.
"I say… let there be light no more."
Ultron unleashed his beam. The solar core split open with a deafening explosion that no sound could carry. The fragments of the star scattered outward like golden dust before fading into the black emptiness.
In the wake of the destruction, only the dying echoes of light remained — and the cold silence of space.
"With the disappearance of light," Ultron declared, his voice reverberating across the void, "comes the finality of creation that once commenced it. The Earth shall freeze beneath eternal night... Reverting back into the Ice Age where the True Age of Ultron shall begin."
