Yunji (5)

My gaze shifted to Yunji, and what I saw made my heart skip a beat.
Yunji had risen to her feet.
Her once brown hair had turned a shimmering golden color, and her brown eyes had become a vivid, menacing red.
A scythe had materialized in her hand, a weapon of such dark magnificence that it seemed to absorb the surrounding light.
Damon's expression shifted from smug confidence to sheer horror.
"K... kill her!" he stammered, his voice cracking with fear. His soldiers, stunned by Yunji's transformation, hesitated for a split second before charging forward.
But Yunji was no longer the same person I had known. She moved with a speed and precision that defied belief.
Her scythe swept through the air in a deadly arc, and the soldiers fell like wheat before the reaper's blade. Her movements were a blur of black and red, the scythe cleaving through armor and flesh with effortless grace.
The battlefield was transformed into a scene of nightmarish carnage.
Yunji's strikes were swift and unrelenting, each one cutting down multiple foes with a single sweep. The air was filled with the sounds of combat—clashing steel, anguished cries, and the sickening thud of bodies hitting the ground.
Yunji's power was overwhelming, a force of nature that swept through the ranks of Damon's army.
Her attacks were precise, each strike finding its mark with unerring accuracy. She was everywhere at once, her scythe a deadly blur of movement.
The soldiers, despite their numbers and their weapons, were helpless against her. Their attempts to counter her were futile; they were no match for her raw, unbridled fury.
The ground around Yunji was littered with the corpses of her enemies. Their bodies were scattered in a grotesque display of her power.
Her blade moved with a deadly elegance, slicing through the enemy ranks with an efficiency that was both awe-inspiring and terrifying.
As the battle raged on, the once-proud army of Damon was reduced to a shattered remnant of its former self.
The soldiers, who had once been so confident, were now nothing more than fodder for Yunji's relentless assault. Her power was indisputable, and the battlefield bore witness to her devastating prowess.
In what felt like mere moments, the chaos subsided. Yunji stood amidst the wreckage of Damon's forces, her breath coming in heavy, controlled bursts. The Blade was still in her hand, its dark edge glistening with the blood of her enemies.
Her transformation had turned her into an almost mythical figure of power, a harbinger of death who had swept through Damon's army with an incomprehensible fury.
"Ha...hahaha!" I laughed, the sound echoing through the silent battlefield.
"Now this is getting fun!" My voice carried a dark, almost sinister edge, reflecting the excitement I felt.
The thrill of the fight, the potential of our newly forged alliance, and the sheer force of Yunji's capabilities all combined to make the moment electrifying.
As I looked around at the devastation, I couldn't help but feel a twisted sense of anticipation.
We had survived, and not only that—Yunji had demonstrated a level of power that promised even greater challenges and victories ahead.

Damon's was feeling bewildered horror.
His once-proud army, the force he had boasted about with such arrogance, lay defeated. Every last one of his soldiers was down, their bodies scattered across the ground, victims of the girl with the golden hair.
Damon watched in growing fear as she approached him, her expression a cold, unrelenting mask.
He could see the fierceness in her eyes, the dark determination that seemed to radiate from her very being. The girl didn't slow, her pace unwavering and menacing.
In a desperate bid to save himself, Damon fell to his knees, his voice trembling.
"P-Please! Don't kill me!" he pleaded, his eyes wide with terror. "I'll do anything! Just spare me!"
The girl didn't respond, her gaze locked on him with a chilling intensity. She continued her slow, deliberate approach, each step echoing Damon's impending doom.
"P-Please! I surrender!! Yes!! I surrender!!!"
Damon's voice cracked as he raised his hands, trying to show that he was no longer a threat. "I-I'm begging you! I have valuable information! Just let me go, and I'll—"
The girl stopped in her tracks, her head turning slightly as she glanced back at the man with the red eyes and the girl with the yellow hair.
Just as he thought he might have a chance, a sudden, excruciating pain erupted in his chest.
Damon looked down in disbelief, his eyes widening as he saw blood pouring from his chest. The blood soaked his clothes, staining them a dark crimson.
Looking up, he saw it. A pair of glowing red eyes were looking straight at him. A malevolent grin was stretched across his face. The man held a gun, the barrel still smoking. The red eyes gleamed with a cruel satisfaction as he aimed the gun at Damon.
"W...what?"
Damon managed to choke out, his voice barely a whisper as the darkness began to close in around him.
His vision blurred, and the world around him faded to black, the last thing he saw was the triumphant expression of the man who had orchestrated his end.

Mercy stood resolute, watching as the soldiers filed back into the school grounds. The retreat had been chaotic, but she had managed to keep them together, ensuring no one was left behind.
Now, with everyone regrouped, they were ready to make another attempt to retrieve Erebus, Elena, and Yunji. The urgency of the situation was not lost on her, and she knew they had to act quickly but carefully.
Gathering the soldiers around her, Mercy began her speech. "Listen up! Our primary objective is to bring Erebus, Elena, and Yunji back safely. We do not engage with the enemy unless absolutely necessary. There are too many of them, and we can't afford to risk more lives. Stay focused, stay sharp, and let's do this right."
The soldiers nodded in agreement, their expressions serious and determined. Mercy felt a sense of pride in their resolve and knew they would do whatever it took to complete their mission.
"All right," Mercy said, raising her voice to rally the troops. "Let's go!"
Just as they were about to move out, a voice called out, "Go where?"
Mercy turned around, eyes widening in surprise. Standing just outside the school gate was Erebus, a little worse for wear but alive, with Elena and Yunji beside him.
"Well that was easier than expected!" Mercy said, both suprised and relieved to see him.
