They finally made it to dry land.
It started to rain heavily and Hamil ordered everyone to get out of the rescue boats and go inside the warehouse to shelter from the storm.
When Lithe was about to follow behind the crowd Hamil stopped him and signaled for Lithe to follow him instead.
They went to the side of the warehouse, there was a trail leading away from the warehouse into the woods.
Hamil handed Lithe an umbrella and said just follow the trail there is someone waiting for you.
Lithe took the umbrella and nodded then turned to walk down the path into the woods his heart was in his chest the entire time.
He was still not entirely sure that Hamil could be trusted; what if this was a trap and Lithe was walking to his doom.
So many attempts had been made on his life recently that it was very hard to trust anyone's kindness nowadays.
As he walked he trembled with the force of his emotions.
