Agonizing pain shot through his back, making Raditz grimace.
Luckily, at the last moment, he'd managed to tense all his muscles, greatly boosting his defense. Years of harsh training had made his body incredibly resilient.
This level of attack was nothing to him.
He swallowed back the blood rising in his throat and was about to steady himself when he saw that Ragar, back in the arena, had already formed a devastatingly destructive energy beam.
Clasping his hands together, Ragar unleashed a dense, crimson-gold energy beam straight at Raditz.
Just as Raditz managed to stabilize himself, he saw that the powerful energy had already arrived before him. Narrowing his eyes, a sharp gleam flashed in his pupils.
'Rumble—!!' The overwhelming destructive energy shook the whole area, dense flames engulfing the battlefield, a storm fierce enough to swallow everything.
The entire Papaya Island, along with the surrounding seas, was rocked by violent tremors.
Terrifying flames swept across the sky, filling the invisible barrier around the arena. If not for that barrier, just the shockwaves alone would have killed everyone present.
Every spectator outside the arena held their breath, staring unblinkingly at the heart of the explosion.
All the gods and fighters in the backstage area became focused at this moment.

That should have been impossible. At that angle and that speed, there was no way Raditz could have reacted in time!

Several seconds passed before the blinding radiance finally faded.
At this moment, Raditz's form had changed.
His waist-length golden hair now stood even more upright, blue-white lightning crackled densely around his body, his eyebrows had vanished from both sides of his forehead, his brow ridge was drawn lower. His whole appearance was like that of a fierce war god, cold and merciless.
Though there weren't many changes to his appearance, judging from Ki Sense, Raditz had reached an astonishing new level.
Ragar stood in the arena, utterly dumbfounded, unable to believe what he was seeing.
Raditz's true strength had reached such a terrifying height. Even someone as powerful as Ragar could only feel dwarfed in comparison.
"Sorry to keep you waiting. I'm still not used to this form, so the transformation took a bit longer." Raditz gave a devilish grin, his immense aura bearing down on Ragar.
At this moment, Ragar felt his body grow heavy, his breathing quicken, and even his mind was affected by the pressure of Raditz's aura.
