The far north was reduced to wasteland.
The battle between Talot and Frieza grew ever more intense. Neither side made the next move, both were carefully watching each other.
Their ever-expanding auras clashed, releasing bursts of lightning in the sky. The scene was quite terrifying, as if it was the end of the world itself.
Every spectator's heart was caught in their throat. A battle for the ages was about to erupt once again.
"Hmph~! So you've only changed from a short-haired monkey into a long-haired monkey. In front of me, you're still just as insignificant!" Frieza raised his right arm, energy gathering at the tip of his finger. Just as the Death Beam was about to fire, Talot moved.
Whoosh~~!! A sharp sound of air being torn apart rang out.
Talot unleashed Instant Transmission, instantly teleporting to Frieza's side within 0.01 seconds. His left hand clamped tightly onto Frieza's right wrist, his fingers crushing down with such force that the death energy Frieza had gathered was scattered instantly.
The explosive speed Talot displayed made Frieza's pupils contract sharply. The pain in his wrist enraged him, and, unable to endure it any longer, his anger erupted.
"Damn monkey!!" With a furious roar, the purple flames around Frieza's body exploded like the fires of hell.
Sensing Frieza's surging aura, Talot sneered. His golden aura burst forth with overwhelming force, instantly drowning Frieza's aura.
"What?!" Frieza was stunned, unable to believe that his aura had been crushed.
Talot's Super Saiyan 3 was far stronger than he had imagined!
"Things are different now, Frieza. Let me show you firsthand the power of Super Saiyan 3!" Talot's lips curled into a wicked grin. With his left arm, he yanked Frieza back, while his right fist rapidly charged up, a spiraling energy condensed to its peak around his knuckles.
Swinging his right arm, he unleashed a devastating punch.
BOOM!!!! The unstoppable, powerful punch landed squarely on Frieza's abdomen. The terrifying force pierced through his body, stirring up a boundless storm.
Blargh~! The powerful blow churned Frieza's insides. He spewed a mouthful of acidic fluid mixed with purple blood as his body shot backward like a cannonball, smashing through several massive mountains in succession.
Having landed a hit, Talot wasn't about to let Frieza off so easily. Taking advantage of his wounded state, he shot forward at full speed, making a beeline for Frieza.
Feeling the piercing pain in his body, Frieza's eyes turned bloodshot, and anger welled up in his heart. His aura erupted out, forcibly stopping his tumbling body mid-air, then he performed a backflip, and landed steadily. He gathered energy in his hands and thrust them forward.
BOOM~~!!! Two Death Beams fired out, like two venomous serpents with gaping maws, lashing straight at Talot.
Seeing this, Talot smirked. His body spun rapidly, transforming into a sharp spiral drill that collided with the twin Death Beams.
In the blink of an eye, Frieza's twin beams were shattered by Talot, dissolving into fragments of energy that scattered across space.
"What the heck??!!" Realizing the danger, Frieza poured all of his power into a defensive barrier, crossing his arms to guard himself.
CRASH!!!! Transformed into a spiral drill, Talot kept moving forward, focusing all of his strength into a single point. The impact and destructive force was utterly terrifying.
Frieza's energy barrier, formed from all his energy, lasted no more than five seconds before being pierced. The spiral drill smashed against his arms, and the tremendous shockwave sent Frieza's body hurtling backward, forcing him back several kilometers in just seconds.
The pressure mounted with every passing moment. Veins bulged across Frieza's forehead as his aura soared to an unprecedented height, his rage burning hotter and hotter.
It had to be said that since emerging from his training, Frieza's toughness was truly remarkable. Even against Talot's relentless Super Saiyan 3 onslaught, he was still managing to hold on.
This situation was far beyond what Talot had expected.
Unlike any opponent he had ever faced before, Frieza was now strong to the point of being outrageous!
But the stronger he is, the more it aligns with Talot's wishes.
With a single thought, Talot used Instant Transmission. Spinning at high speed, he crossed space and appeared behind Frieza.
"Damn monkey, such petty tricks are useless against me!!" Frieza swung his tail sideways, aiming for Talot's cheek.
But Talot was already prepared. He swung his right arm and caught Frieza's tail with precision.
With his tail firmly in Talot's grasp, Frieza's expression changed; he sensed grave danger.
"Sometimes, your tail really does come in handy!" With those words, Talot unleashed his power. His right arm tightened, and he slammed Frieza into the ground as if using him as a weapon.
An overwhelming force struck him, and Frieza instantly lost control of his body, crashing violently to the ground.
BOOM~~!!! The ground caved in, rocks flew everywhere, and Frieza's body gouged a massive crater beneath him.
Agonizing pain shot through his entire body. Frieza's enraged expression twisted further in ferocity, his blood surging so violently it felt like he might vomit it out at any moment.
"It's not over yet, Frieza. This is only the beginning." Talot kept his grip on Frieza's tail, pouring out more power as he swung him like a weapon, smashing him repeatedly into the ground to the left and right.
BANG!! BANG!! BANG!! … Blow after brutal blow forced a spray of blood from Frieza's mouth.
Even with his body strengthened through hellish training, enduring several of these devastating strikes in succession was nearly unbearable.
Noticing the twisted look on Frieza's face, Talot's grin widened.
Just as he was about to deliver an even more powerful strike, Frieza counterattacked.
Drawing upon a deeper pool of energy, his tail forcefully broke free from Talot's grip. Gathering death energy into his fist, he suddenly swung it at Talot's face.
Fueled by fury, the punch sent Talot flying.
"Damn monkey!! I'll tear you into pieces!!" With a furious roar, Frieza's hands moved in a blur. In an instant, hundreds—no, thousands—of Death Beams tore through the air, weaving together into a massive net aimed straight at Talot.
Seeing Frieza so furious and flustered, Talot felt immense satisfaction. He stabilized himself with a swift spin, golden particles flickering in his hand, and swung his arm through the air.
RUMBLE~~!! An invisible surge of immense energy instantly detonated all the incoming Death Beams, transforming them into a colossal wall of flame towering ten thousand meters high.
The scorching heat blasted outward in all directions, causing the wasteland within a radius of over ten miles to crack and fracture to varying degrees. The scorching heat swept across the land, turning it into a blazing hellscape.
Brimming with fighting spirit, Talot once again used Instant Transmission. Like a phantom, he appeared before Frieza and hurled his right fist forward.
Frieza, nerves stretched taut, raised his arms to block.
BOOM!!!! The explosive clash unleashed a storm that ravaged the sky and earth, the force of Talot's punch scattering the flames.
"YAAAHHH!!!" With a fierce shout, Frieza launched his counterattack.
Punch after punch of destruction, each strike fueled by boundless rage, came crashing down with infinite power, as fast and violent as thunder.
Like Talot's earlier assault, there was no defense, only attack. Frieza had gone completely berserk.
But Talot was no longer the same as before. His fighting spirit burned at its peak, and his body's combat ability and instinct had reached their highest level.
He didn't even need to think, his body moved on its own. Every fighting gene within him had awakened, allowing him to dodge every one of Frieza's savage blows with ease.
It had to be said: the Saiyan race's combat talent was truly terrifying. In battle, they seemed to have no limits, constantly evolving—never the strongest, only growing stronger.
This scene was witnessed by Whis on God of Destruction's Planet. Talot's effortless, instinctive evasion caused Whis's eyes to lit up.
Those movements, the frequency of dodging….they were simply too similar!
Talot's dodging movements now were strikingly reminiscent of Ultra Instinct.
And because of this, Whis valued Talot even more.
