Chapter 217 - Chapter 117 Confirming the Relationship, Request for Help (Part 2)

The next day, Talot and Salari both woke up very late.

By the time they had freshened up and stepped out, everyone else had already been waiting for quite a while.

Fortunately, Salari wasn't an ordinary woman—had she been, it would've been difficult to endure the pain that followed such a wild night.

In Salari's own words, this pain was proof that she had become Talot's woman.

After a simple meal, the group set out as planned two days earlier, heading northeast from South City.

Along the way, they passed through many cities and scenic areas, all the way until they reached East City…

During the journey, it was Bulma's smart robot that drove the car.

These robots had been developed by Bulma years ago. As Talot had once commented, Dr. Gero wasn't the only one capable of creating androids, Bulma should also be considered a pioneer in this field. It was just that the original work didn't mention it, and Bulma herself hadn't pursued further research in that direction.

So, the birth of these smart robots deserved a word of thanks to Talot.

Throughout the ride, Salari leaned closely against Talot.

It must have been because their relationship had been officially confirmed the night before, as her behavior had clearly become more intimate, and anyone with eyes could see it.

Especially Bulma, who had been frowning ever since they departed, looking visibly displeased.

She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she knew, there had to be a reason behind it.

Salari was clearly different from the day before. It was as if no matter what Bulma did or said, it was like hitting a pile of cotton, everything just bounced back.

Feeling Bulma's gaze, Salari tightened her grip on Talot's arm, as if making a show of claiming ownership, which made Talot shake his head helplessly.

Then, locking eyes with Bulma, Talot hadn't meant to say anything, but his eyes betrayed the emotions he was trying to hide.

"Ahh! You… y-you… you two! We agreed to a fair competition and you cheated! Salari!" Bulma suddenly stood up, fuming and pointing at Salari, unable to contain her anger.

She had played by the rules, but Salari had pulled a sneaky move and confirmed their relationship behind everyone's back.

Bulma wasn't stupid. She understood exactly what had happened last night.

It had to be just as she suspected.

Startled by her outburst, Raditz and Launch turned their heads with strange expressions, while Gine simply smiled, staying completely uninvolved and just watching from the sidelines.

As long as no major incidents occur and things don't reach the point of a complete falling out, she wouldn't intervene.

As the elder, she was wise enough to steer clear of taking sides. No matter who she tried to support, the other would only end up resenting her.

"Brother Talot and I grew up together, he was always mine. You're just the one who came later." Salari snapped back, her aggression more than just ordinary.

But Bulma wasn't one to be bullied easily. As long as Salari didn't physically attack, Bulma wasn't afraid.

Actually, when it came to Talot, Bulma really wasn't afraid. Even during a few times when Salari had flared up and unleashed her aura, Bulma hadn't taken a single step back.

"Don't get cocky. I'm not going to lose to you." Bulma boldly changed seats, plopping herself right next to Talot.

This made Salari laugh angrily: "Even if you cling to Brother Talot, I'm still the senior. You'll have to call me 'big sister' in the future."

"Who would call you 'big sister'? You're the one who cheated because you were scared you'd lose to me. Besides, when it comes to figure and skin, you can't compare to me." Bulma looked smug.

At that, Salari was immediately displeased.

The two women started arguing again, with Talot caught in the middle, on the verge of tears.

On a normal day, it would've been easy, just one word from him would've shut them up.

But he had just been with Salari the night before. If he stopped Salari now, she would definitely feel hurt.

And if he stopped Bulma instead, Bulma would definitely be heartbroken too.

As a man, Talot now truly understood the pain of being caught between two women.

During this time, he had hoped that Raditz might speak up and help steer the topic away, but no such luck. Raditz was still holding a grudge.

Talot had set him up before, causing Launch to latch onto him. Now that this was happening, Raditz looked quite pleased.

'The upcoming journey is going to be pure torment... I really need to think about how to ease the tension between them.' With that thought, Talot decided to just let it be.

Let them argue. As long as they wore themselves out, they'd quiet down on their own.

In truth, Talot had never intended to be a womanizer.

But even without trying, he still attracted people. Take Bulma, for example.

When he first met her, she was still so young. Talot hadn't done anything much for her back then, but somehow, over the years, he had naturally become the prince charming in her heart.
