"!!!" Nathan's body shook. The smoke had cleared up before they could attack. It was then that he realized why the damage they dealt was so significant.
The Godfather was truly on his last moment. His body was tattered, the black cell couldn't support him anymore, and his body had stopped regenerating.
As Nathan said, one last strike, and he would be finished.
Yet, the real reason the Godfather was in this sorry state was not because he took the hit from Luna. It was because he didn't release anything to endure the hit from Luna.
In other words, he took the full brunt of that attack with only his physical body.
The Godfather had already concentrated his power and was ready to unleash it. He knew that Nathan would come one more time to kill him.
His goal was never about survival. It was to kill Nathan. In other words, it didn't matter if he died in the process.
