The emperor couldn't help but look at his subject, who had once been obsessed with his vengeance.
"Grand Duke Johnson. It's been a while since you came to the capital." The emperor smiled.
The entire hall had been vacated, leaving only five people. The emperor, the two guardians, Johnson, and Evelyn.
"It is my greatest honor that Your Majesty still considers me a grand duke of this dynasty." Johnson closed his eyes.
"You are always the Grand Duke of the Erwih Dynasty. Nothing can change that. That tragedy pains both of us." The emperor nodded.
"..." Johnson bit his lips.
"There is no brother who won't be sad at the death of his beloved sister. There is no uncle who won't mourn his nephew and niece." The emperor's voice cracked.
Johnson turned out to be a relative of the imperial family. Even Evelyn didn't expect this information. It looked like he married one of the princesses or, more like, a princess close to the current emperor.
