Chapter 123 - Chapter 31 [Volume 2]

[T/N: Oops, forgot about this, but eh. I got to it, just got home from the hospital, and before that I was constantly busy with work, so I did have more important things to do. Enjoy the chapter.]

Jon was very happy hugging his sister. She had tears in her eyes as he shared the good news about Bran and Rickon.

The girl had thousands of questions, and he answered as many as he could.

"It's time," he said.

They headed to the docks. About a hundred ships were waiting.

Aegon was with his family, Jon Connington, Ashara Dayne, and Raenerys Targaryen.

Jon's gaze met the girl's, and a smile appeared on her face. He approached as Aegon boarded the ship with Jon Connington, while Ashara said her goodbyes.

Raenerys hugged Sansa. Jon looked at her; she returned a small, sad smile at the farewell.

Jon softly kissed her lips, surprising the girl, but she quickly reciprocated.

Sansa smiled as she stepped into a boat.

Aegon ignored the situation, perhaps uncomfortable or fearing his sister's wrath if he commented. He focused on more important things, approaching Sansa and striking up a conversation.

Jon Snow shared the sentiment but knew his sister was stubborn. The war was dangerous.

Sansa insisted, "If I don't go, who will heal them?"

Jon clarified that he could summon a healer, but the girl ignored him.

He sighed, watching the Stark smile at him, and couldn't help but return it.

Jon remained in Raenerys's arms.

"Can I come?" she asked.

"No, it's too dangerous, and I don't want you seeing war," he whispered.

"My bed will be cold," she teased.

"A good point to finish quickly and return," he promised.

Raenerys smiled and kissed him again.

"I love you," she whispered.

Jon felt a warmth spread through his body.

"I know," he teased.

The princess frowned, expecting an "I love you too." She looked at him; his cocky smile made her bite her lip like a child.

"I'll miss this," she muttered.

"I'll be back soon. I promise," he said.

Raenerys nodded.

"Take care of Valyria," he asked.

She nodded again before walking away. Jon turned and headed back to the ship. He ignored Sansa's smile, Jon Connington, and Aegon.

"Let's get this over with," he whispered.

Arya walked through the camp, somewhat nervous. They would leave for the Twins in a few days. Her uncle would marry one of the Frey daughters.

In the camp were her parents. Robb stayed with his wife in Moat Cailin; apparently, she was pregnant.

[T/N: hehehehe, Robb must have been stressed.]

She remembered the news about Bran and Rickon. Her mother wanted them to go search, but Ned had said Bran refused, and they did not know the exact location beyond the Wall. They were fine. Bran's abilities reassured her mother, and knowing she would soon be a grandmother made Catelyn feel happy despite the looming war.

Arya noticed one of Black Walden's lieutenants, her great-uncle. She didn't like the Freys.

He was called Black Walden and was useless to Arya. She had seen him complain about everything. The only thing he had going for him was being Walden Frey's son.

Arya activated her mind reading to entertain herself.

"Let's go with the Freys. Those useless people are going to help," she heard little Jon's voice.

She smiled at him.

The northerners thought the same.

"Not much left, just a few more days and everything will be ready," a voice said.

'The Freys also want the wedding to end quickly and attack the Lannisters,' she thought.

"The first thing I'll do when I'm done is rape Mormont," she heard.

Arya looked in horror. The thought came from Walden Black.

She sat near him.

"Lady Arya," he greeted with a smile.

"Lord Walden," she replied.

The man looked at her.

'Too young, but when she grows up…' Arya heard.

"In a hurry?" she asked.

"No, I guess I'm looking forward to the wedding," he said.

'And for fucking Mormont, bitch,' she heard.

Arya took a deep breath.

"Is something wrong?" he asked.

"No, just anxious. Luckily, it'll all be over soon," she said.

"Of course," he replied.

'It'll all be over quickly, bitch. The Lannisters have authorized the plan. With the Boltons' help, your family will die at the wedding. I'll have Dacey Mormont warming my bed, your brother's wife too, and my father will spend his life raping your mother,' she heard.

[T/N: …my eyes are bulging, I am so mad.]

Arya stood up forcefully.

"Is something wrong?" he asked.

Arya refrained from torturing him.

"Nothing. Good night, Walden," she whispered.

The man watched her leave.

Arya walked to her father's tent, entered without knocking, and saw her parents eating.

"Arya?" Ned said.

"Problems?" he asked.

Arya's eyes burned with hatred.

"Yes, Father."

Ned looked at the white room. He had arrived a few days after Arya revealed the Frey and Bolton betrayal. He had trained to rid himself of hatred, but it was useless.

He checked the monitor. He reached level 27 with 6 skill points but decided to wait.

He arrived with the Freys and their army at the Twins. They arrived at the party. He took action. Arya wanted to participate, but Ned's orders were absolute. She teleported her mother to Robb and Talisa and stayed there.

Many of his trusted men knew the plan but waited for the Tully-Frey wedding to begin. The Mormont, Umber, and Karstark families were ready.

'We just have to wait,' he thought, eyeing Walden Frey.

Edmure Tully looked radiant as he and his wife left the room.

"As always, it's a pleasure to enter your castles, Lord Walden," said Ned.

The old man nodded off, uninterested.

"It was a splendid wedding," Ned admitted.

The old man frowned.

"Any problem?" he asked.

"Your arrangements with Tywin bothered me quite a bit," Ned said.

An awkward silence fell.

"Excuse me?" the old man asked.

"No, I'm not that naive to not see this coming," Ned said. The Freys seemed nervous.

An explosion sounded outside.

"Oh, just in time. Those must be my men slaughtering yours," Ned clarified.

"I don't understand…" Walden stammered.

"You never saw it coming, my heir. He wasn't at the wedding, nor Edmure's sister, not even my little girl. Walden, Walden," Ned said.

"KILL HIM!" the old man shouted.

"Elemental aura," Ned whispered. His sword froze briefly. With a single movement, he deflected all arrows from above.

"I'm not finished yet," he said.

"As you see, I was aware. My men changed the poisoned wine," Ned said, turning to show Jon Umber killing a pair of guards. Dacey Mormont knocked Walden Black to the ground.

"I have learned many things in these wars. It was my son Jon who taught me an important lesson… Always set an example," he said.

His movements were too fast for mortals. Eddard Stark moved right as Roose Bolton appeared with a blade in his left hand.

Ned dodged without looking. The Lord of the Boltons attacked again. Ned held his wrist and made it crack.

"And what better example than executing a traitor?" he whispered.

Ice, the legendary Valyrian steel sword, pierced Roose, who turned into an ice statue. Ned struck it, destroying it. The Freys watched in horror.

He returned to the white room, finding none of his children present, and went to the computer.

{Congratulations, you have gotten revenge on someone who betrayed you. You have been given 3 skill points as a reward.}

Ned raised an eyebrow.

"First example: destroy the traitor of the North," he said.

Walden and Ned's eyes met.

"Second example: show the southerners what happens when they betray the North… Guardian!" Ned exclaimed.

An ice giant appeared. The northerners attacked the Freys. Dacey Mormont broke Black Walden's ribs with her war club. Walden Frey hid under a table.

Ned sliced another man and returned to the white room.

"So fast? Roose must have given me extra points. Why?" Ned wondered.

"Roose? Roose Bolton? What's going on?" Jon asked.

"You killed a Bolton?" Bran asked.

"Can I go?" Arya asked.

Ned sighed.

"I'm glad to see you kids, but it's tiring to always see each other here," he said. Jon knew his team would leave.

"A couple of traitors. I'll take care of it," Ned said, heading to the computer.

{Do you want to leave the team? Yes/No}

Ned pressed yes. His children disappeared.

It was annoying; every time he leveled up, they would appear. Talking was fine, but battle left no time.

[T/N: Time literally stops in there, and your mental state stays the same when you leave, moron.]

He checked his skills.

{Name: Ned Stark

He could either get two upgrades for his Atlantean magic or his swordsmanship. He chose Atlantean magic.

{Do you want to spend 10 skill points and get both upgrades to the Atlantean Magic skill at level 5? Yes/No}

Ned pressed yes.

{Atlantic Magic Level: 5

Ice Guardian: You create an ice guardian.

Upgrade 1: Doubles the number of summoned guardians.

Upgrade 2: Guardians freeze enemies with their attacks.}

"Very useful," he whispered and left the room.

He watched the northerners fight, his summoned guardian attacking archers on the second floor.

"Guardian," he said. Two new guardians appeared, quickly attacking the Freys.

"Elemental aura," he whispered. His sword glowed with fire.

Ned launched himself at nearby enemies, taking out a few. Soldiers entered, and old Frey fled.

"Keep going, eliminate anyone who attacks… I'm going for the old man," Ned ordered.

He ignored screams of women and soldiers.

Two guards waited, terrified.

"Guardian," Ned said. Two giants appeared. Mana was low, but he wanted terror. The guardians eliminated the guards and broke down the door.

Ned confronted the old man.

"So this is the end," he said.

"It's the end," the man agreed.

"What I did was for the good of the Freys," the old man said.

"You let your ego guide you. You thought you were ahead, but you were behind," Ned said, decapitating him. He returned to the white room, reaching level 29 with 5 skill points.

[T/N: F*ck the Freys! At least the Starks survived this time. Also, a lot of people are bitching when I'm writing this over on Webnovel about the book having multi-mc's. I'm putting up an alert in the summary to get the bitches to shut up. ]
