CALLEOUS STIRRED awake with a heavy body. He didn't know if he woke up because he was feeling numb all over or because he might not have been feeling his body anymore.
Everything about him feels so sore, like some of his body muscles are going stiff, unable to feel pain or anything aside from that annoying throbbing from time to time.
It was not that debilitating nor did it hamper his movement but the feeling of being unable to feel anything is truly bothersome and distracting.
Distracting in the sense that, aside from thinking of how to ease that, Calleous seems to have no idea of registering his surroundings, where he is, and what had happened so that he could easily find answers to his questions.
If not because he had awakened someone from his restless moving, he would not have realized that someone sleeping was also beside him.
The arm that was loosely wrapped around his numbed waist had tightened, instantly pulling him close to the said man.
"Sleep more, baby."
