Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 - Classes continue

Text(Slytherin Dorm)

Harry woke up at 5:15 AM and after a quick shower made his way downstairs to relax for the hour before everyone else got up. Making his way to sit on the couch he found before he saw that there was already somebody there, "Good morning Daphne." Harry said happily.

"Morning to you too." Daphne smiled as she pat the spot on the couch next to her. Much like Harry, Daphne was already in her uniform.

"So. Why are you up so early." Harry wondered as he sat on her right.

"My family runs an Apothecary that opens up at 7 AM. Getting up this early is routine for me." Daphne smiled as she swung her legs over Harry's lap. If you told her three months ago she'd be in her dorm room with her legs on a boy, she'd probably hex you. then again, she probably never imagined Harry would be a Slytherin.

"I see" Harry replied with a smile as he spread his legs before slid his arm around Daphne's and pulled her onto his lap with a small squeak from the usually relaxed Daphne.

Daphne blushed before wrapping her arms around his shoulder and pulling her head into his chest as she allowed her legs to drape forward, "You know, I was down here for 30 minutes yesterday around this time, and I didn't see you at all. So I'm guessing you're used to waking up early also." Daphne asked innocently.

"I am but that's not what you really want to discuss is it." Harry smiled. He had little doubt she was an early riser but then she could just relax in her room. She did all this for a reason, and he had a good idea as to why..

Daphne pouted slightly because she was seen through so easily, "No. I have two questions for you, and I hope you'll answer them honestly." Daphne said bashfully.

"I will." Harry replied.

Daphne took a deep breath, "Did you seek out Lyra on purpose on the train" Daphne wondered.

Harry chuckled, "I did but you knew that already." Harry smiled.

"Yes. Your reaction when Tonks showed up was quite telling and when she told us about the spell, I realized that you did the same thing." Daphne admitted.

"And yet, you still stripped down to your underwear for me" Harry smiled finding that hilarious with the context involved.

Daphne blushed, "Lyra was still panicking after what happened to Draco and then she remembered what you said about the beach photo and asked if we could show off for you that way. Tracey was all for it since she didn't get to show you any photos."

Harry chuckled, "Lyra seemed to suggest you weren't against it either."

"It was a unique opportunity." Daphne answered with a blush.

"Opportunity?" Harry wondered.

"Like pretty much everyone I assumed you'd be in Gryffindor while our group was earmarked for Slytherin, and that rivalry isn't a pleasant one."

"I've heard." Harry smirked.

Daphne smiled, "Then our actual meeting happened. From the moment you walked into that cabin you had everything under control and if not for Tonks, I'd have thought it was just a lucky coincidence."

"Don't remind me." Harry groaned.

Daphne smiled before pecking him on the cheek, "That's when I realized you were a tried and true Slytherin and I had little doubt you'd end up with us. Lyra's suggestion was the perfect chance to appeal to you and because of how well you managed it, nobody would be the wiser" Daphne replied.

"Gotcha. Speaking of plans did you intentionally handle our seating the way you did or was that just a coincidence." Harry smiled.

"The day of the sorting, we wanted to sit together anyway so Tracey was going to try and get us a few seats away from Malfoy and his goons. As for breakfast, Tracey and Lyra came to my room the night of the sorting and we discussed how to keep the advantage we already held. We played rock paper scissors to determine who would get what slots and well, that's why things were what they were" Daphne explained with a blush,

Harry chuckled at the idea of 2 purebloods and a half-blood playing rock paper scissors of all things, "Alright and I believe you had a second question."

Daphne blushed, "How serious were you about what you said when we were in our underwear." Daphne asked embarrassingly.

Harry smiled as he slid his left hand down her robes stopping right at her ass, "Very much so and I mean that. I could've technically done something to extend the time but since I had no clue who was in the cabins around us, I might risk something annoying. Having said that, I fully intend to enjoy you Tracey and Lyra before the year is over. Maybe a few others mixed in depending on how lucky I get, but you three are definitely mine." Harry smirked before kissing her forehead.

Daphne shuddered at the feeling of his lips on her forehead knowing it could easily be other places especially since his hand was still on her ass, "I'd like that very much." Daphne replied curling into him more. In hindsight she wished she was in casual clothes since she could press her shapely breasts into his body, but the robes ruined that.

"Good. By the way, when I say by the end of the year, I don't mean the end of the school year." Harry said in a husky voice.

"Okay" Daphne mumbled, and she briefly considered actually kissing him before hearing footsteps and that meant their classmates were starting to wake

"Seems our talk is over." Harry scowled as he was forced to let go so nobody saw them

"Yeah." Daphne sighed as she reluctantly left his arms.

"Don't worry. I usually wake up early so we can make a habit of this." Harry smiled quickly kissing her forehead once more.

"You'd better." Daphne blushed as a few older students walk into the common room and thankfully dismissed them being on the couch alone so early in the morning. A part of her wondered if that would be true if things had escalated but regardless, this wouldn't be the last time daphne and Harry spoke early in the morning.

(Scene Skip)

It was time for Charms, and he found himself sitting in the back with Tracey on his right and Lyra on his left. Professor Flitwick was a cheerful man which meant the class would be enjoyable. "Alright students the first lesson of the day is the wand lighting charm Lumos." Flitwick smiled.

Harry had a smirk on his face as he prepared for the lesson. This was a basic lesson and as he did with McGonagall's he easily succeeded on the first try.

"Five points to Slytherin. Well done Mr. Potter." Flitwick smiled.

'Thank you sir." Harry smiled.

"His task done, Harry decided it was time to have some fun with his two classmates and wrapped his arms around their lower backs. Thanks to being in the back, nobody could see anything unless they were looking for it.

"Harry. What are you doing?" Lyra whispered.

"Supporting my girls." Harry replied. He simply kept his arms there for now since it would be stupid to distract them too much.

Lyra blushed but kept going and unlike Harry she failed the first few times, "Damn it"

Harry smiled before rubbing her back slowly, "It's okay. Keep at it." Harry smiled.

"Right" Lyra replied with a blush.

Tracey pouted slightly before lighting it up also but failing, "This sucks." Tracey replied.

Harry repeated the pattern with Tracey, "You'll get it soon." Harry said softly.

The girls were rather transparent in that he could tell they were more than capable of doing the task, but they enjoyed his little teasing. As he continued to tease them after every failed attempt. He pulled away briefly to have some fun.

"Hey Professor. How intense can we make the light without it being dangerous." Harry smiled.

Flitwick smiled back, "Try to light it so it fills enough space around you. Too much and it might blind everyone."

Harry took his hands away from the girls and then made a much brighter Lumos that nearly covered his whole section, "Is this good."

"Yes it is Mr. Potter, excellent work." Flitwick smiled.

"Thank you sir." Harry smiled and he put his wand down again, but this time didn't put his arms around the girls.

"What was that about?" Lyra replied with a frown. Whether she was referring to their lack of contact or his antics earlier was a question only known to Lyra.

"Just having some fun. By the way if you girls can get it right soon, I'll give you a reward since we have break coming next." Harry smiled.

His words had the effect he wanted and both girls instantly managed to light it up perfectly.

"Well done girls." Flitwick smiled.

The rest of the class went by without too much trouble and soon it was time to leave but just as he did, Flitwick called to him.

"Mr. Potter a word." Flitwick smiled.

"Of course." Harry replied and he walked over to the Professor.

"Mr. Potter as a dueling champion being constantly aware of my surroundings is a necessity. Because of that I was well aware of what you were doing to Ms. Davis and Ms. Malfoy. I will not take points off this time, because I have zero desire to humiliate young children for being a bit exploratory. However, the charms in my classroom are dangerous. Do not make a habit of it." Flitwick scolded.

"Yes sir." Harry smiled..

Walking out of the classroom he made his way towards where the Slytherin dorms would be and found Tracey and Lyra standing in a side corridor. Making his way over, he saw the two girls in front of a broom closet, "We did it like you wanted." Tracey smiled.

"Time for our reward." Lyra replied as she opened the door and walked in with Tracey not far behind

Harry smiled and walked into the closet before bringing his wand to him and using a charm to expand it, "Much better." Harry smiled.

"Agreed."

"Now give it to us." Tracey and Lyra said firmly. They didn't care how Harry was so good at the charm already. All they cared about was taking advantage of their time together.

Harry turned towards Lyra first and wrapped his arms around her waist before grabbing her ass, "Such a nice arse. It's a shame the robes are in the way." Harry smiled as he fondled her rear end and planted kisses all along her cheeks and exposed neck.

"NGHH. That feels good." Lyra moaned.

"Good but I'm afraid that's it for now." Harry smiled as he pulled away.

"Why!?" Lyra pouted.

"Because I don't want to claim favorites." Harry replied.

"My turn" Tracey smiled.

Harry repeated the process with Tracey enjoying her soft skin and shapely rear even above the robes. Tracey's was much firmer, no doubt due to some athletic training, while Lyra's was larger and softer. He was going to enjoy doing far more later but they had to stop before he got too horny.

"That's it for now girls." Harry frowned.

"Okay" the girls both smiled and they left the broom closet to enjoy his break. He was pretty sure daphne would want what her friends got at some point but for now he would simply enjoy himself

(Scene Skip)

Harry was in a foul mood as he and his classmates walked into Potions. After his break was DADA and that class was horrible. Quirrell was a stammering mess who could barely utter two words in a row and seemed horrified of his shadow. To make matters worse, Harry briefly activated his magic sensing abilities, and he was very caught off guard by what he saw, and it took all of his self-control, to not say anything.

"Harry what's going on." Lyra frowned as they stood in line in front of the Potions classroom. Ever since DADA Harry was irritable and while she couldn't blame him, she was curious.

"It's nothing." Harry frowned. Oh it was something alright. Quirrell had a disgustingly enormous amount of dark magic attached to him and there's no way that Dumbledore didn't know.

"Okay" Lyra frowned. She was about to ask more when Harry was approached by a Gryffindor girl with dirty blonde hair in waves and stormy gray eyes.

"Umm. Can I ask you something Harry." The girl said timidly

"Of course miss."

"Lavender Brown."

"Ahh. Well Ms. Brown what would you like to know." Harry replied politely.

"Well. I was hoping to ask you a few questions for an interview. My mum is a reporter for Witch's Weekly and she's actually going to publish the first interview with your family in the issue at the end of the week. I thought maybe we could do an interview also." Lavender said nervously.

Harry was about to respond when Draco walked over to the group, "Get lost Brown. The only people worthy to interview Potter here are with the Prophet. So kindly."

"Shut up Draco. Nobody asked you." Harry said coldly before focusing on Lavender. "It would be my honor and privilege to interview you Ms. Brown but I have two conditions." Harry smiled.

Lavender beamed, "Absolutely."

"What!! But Potter the Prophet is the best paper in the world. Surely you want them to cover your first interview." Draco replied.

"The one who decides who interviews me, is me Draco. Now kindly shut up as I negotiate with Ms. Brown." Harry smiled.

"My father will hear of this." Draco shouted before walking back to his spot.

Harry rolled his eyes, "Anyway. Two conditions for this interview. The first is that you only use regular quills. I've heard that certain unscrupulous reporters use Quick Quote Quills, and I won't allow it."

Lavender smiled, "By reporters I assume you mean Rita and yes I understand."

Harry smiled before closing the short distance between him and Lavender "As for the second condition" Harry stopped before leaning in and in a shockingly quiet voice whispered something that only Lavender could hear.

"Okay" Lavender said with a blush.

"Oi Potter what did you say to her." a Gryffindor boy with pale skin and sandy hair scowled.

Lavender was about to say something when Professor Snape walked towards them, "Inside immediately" Snape said with a scowl. Everybody walked in without saying anything. The Gryffindor's and Slytherin's were warned by their head of house and the older students that they needed to be careful around Snape, so nobody wanted to question them

(Scene Skip)

Harry sat with a frowning Lyra who was curious what he whispered to Lavender, but Snape walked in before she could address it, "There will be no foolish wand waving or silly incantations in this class. As such, I don't expect many of you to appreciate the subtle science that is potion making. However, for those select few who possess the predisposition. I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory, and even put a stopper in death. However, those who do not pay attention in my class will learn quickly that the very things that make this class so great can make it terrifying." Snape paused before looking around at the class. "Ms. Greengrass."

Daphne blinked for a moment, "Yes sir."

"Tell me what would I get if I added powder root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood."

"They are ingredients in the Draught of Living Death."

Snape smiled, "Indeed. Can you also tell me what happens if the Draught is prepared incorrectly." Snape replied politely.

Daphne smiled, "The Draught of Living Death is a powerful sleep potion that can make the user imitate the appearance of death for a short time. If prepared incorrectly, the sleep can become permanent and actually kill you."

"Correct" Professor Snape said with a smile.

"Professor hold on. We don't cover the Draught of Living death this year." A bushy haired girl spoke up.

Snape scowled, "Ms. Granger was it."

"Yes sir." the girl said nervously.

"Normally an outburst like that could've easily cost you quite a few points and detention. However, I asked this question of Ms. Greengrass for a very specific reason. Would you care to know what that is."

"Because you're biased against your snakes." Ron spoke up.

Snape scowled, "10 points from Gryffindor for that outburst Mr. Weasley and detention with Mr. Filch for a week." Snape said firmly proving his point.

"What!" Ron complained.

"Would you like me to make that two weeks." Snape scowled.

"No sir" Ron whimpered.

Snape sighed, "The reason I asked Ms. Greengrass is because her family runs an Apothecary and as such she is very familiar with the dangers that come with potion making."

"Dangers sir" Hermione frowned.

"Yes. You are a Muggleborn correct."

"Yes sir" Hermione said defensively.

"Are you familiar with cooking."

"Yes sir. My parents cook all the time." Hermione said curiously. Most of the class was curious what Professor Snape was up to particularly Harry who heard all kinds of horror stories about him.

"Can you tell me what happens if you do not cover the pot when you are cooking certain sauces." Snape asked politely.

Hermione smiled, "Yes sir. If you're using something like tomato sauce, it flies all over the place."

"Indeed. Five points to Gryffindor" Snape replied.

"Professor Snape. What was the point of asking about something stupid like that." Draco scowled.

"10 points from Slytherin Draco."

"What!"

"Do you want me to make it 20." Snape said firmly.

"No sir." Draco frowned.

"The reason I mention this is because while a little bit of tomato sauce flying everywhere is irritating at best, what if what's flying all over the place is a dangerous potion. One that if it is made incorrectly could cause incredible harm to a person should it get on the."

"Could a potion really do that." Granger spoke up a nervously.

Snape smiled before standing up and with a wave of his hand instructions appeared on the board "Indeed. Today we will be doing a cure for boils and the instructions are currently on the board. If you prepare it incorrectly, you will find that a cure for boils will instead become a potion that fills your face with the very boils you were supposed to cure. The ingredients you will need are in the cabinet over there. Now begin." Snape said firmly pointing to the cabin in question.

It wasn't long before the class began, and Harry had to admit he was pleasantly surprised by how nonchalant the class was. There was a small moment where Seamus, the blonde boy from earlier and Ron screwed up their potion and it went flying causing the red head to have boils all over his face. Snape was furious and docked both boys 25 points but did not give detention. Instead their punishment was having to walk to the Hospital wing with Boils over their faces. As far as first potions classes went, this was pretty good.

(Scene Skip)

With the day over, Harry was hoping to relax but sadly his girls had other ideas, "Come with me Harry." Lyra frowned as she grabbed Harry and dragged him towards the female sleeping area.

"I'm assuming you're holding onto me for a reason." Harry deadpanned.

"Yes. If I'm not the barrier will kick in." Lyra replied.

Harry figured there had to be something stopping guys from coming up and he got his answer but now the question was what the girls were planning. Harry continued to get dragged up the stairs and he felt the barrier Lyra was talking about as he was pulled through with no hesitation. Soon he was on what he assumed was the girls floor and dragged in front of what he figured was one of their rooms. Opening the door, he found Tracey and Daphne sitting on a bed. Looking around the room there was nothing special aside from the twin bed. Lyra walked forward before sitting on the bed between the girls, "We've called you here because there's a problem we need to address." Lyra said firmly.

Harry smiled, "I wasn't aware there was a problem."

"There is and her name is Lavender Brown." Lyra continued.

"I'm assuming the only one who has a problem with this is Lyra." Harry deadpanned.

"Yep." Tracey smiled.

"I'm not happy with it but I wouldn't say it's a problem." Daphne replied calmly.

"Traitors." Lyra pouted before focusing on Harry. "Enough games. What are your plans for her"

Harry was amused by the simple question, "She wants an interview. I granted it. Nothing more nothing less." Harry answered.

"Then why was she blushing after you made that second request." Lyra deadpanned.

Harry decided to throw her a bone, "Because she has something in common with you and Daphne." Harry smiled.

Lyra's eyes widened, "She's one of the girls who sent you photos of her."

"That's right and she's been sending me letters for a very long time. In fact, she sent them before the Boy Who Lived Books started."

"No way." Lyra gasped and Daphne and Tracey were pleasantly surprised.

"It's not a shock. According to Sirius, Lavender's mother Sienna was quite interested in my dad, but also one of my mum's best friends at Hogwarts and as a result knew that her chances with him were slim to none" Harry said calmly. He didn't mention that Sirius took advantage of that frustration quite frequently during his time at Hogwarts and on a few occasions changed his hair and eyes, so he looked somewhat like James for her sake. Was it cruel of Sirius to take advantage, yes, but when she finally moved on he backed away.

"I see. So she mourned his death as much as anybody." Lyra frowned.

"She did. She was also one of a VERY limited amount of people who knew about them being alive in the first place and to her credit she kept that secret until the day they revealed themselves." Harry replied.

The girls frowned, "How many people knew your parents were alive."

Harry smiled, "Nym and her family. Amelia Bones. Lavender's mother and a few other people who I won't mention." Harry replied.

"I'm assuming the Marauders are among that group." Lyra said calmly.

Harry raised an eyebrow, "I'm surprised you know of them." Harry chuckled.

"Who are the Marauders" Tracey wondered.

"Harry's father and three of his friends in Hogwarts formed a group called the Marauders. It was him, Sirius Black, a man named Remus Lupin, and finally Peter Pettigrew. They were as thick as thieves throughout school committing prank after prank on people particularly Slytherins. My mother dealt with them quite a bit before her graduation." Lyra frowned.

"I see." Daphne replied.

"To answer your question the other Marauders don't know, and for very good reasons." Harry replied.

"And those reasons are." Lyra asked.

"Remus has his own personal issues that meant the truth would be rather awkward. As for Peter. That rotten bastard was the Secret Keeper and the reason our family was attacked that night. He is the reason I became the Boy Who Lived in the first place, and when I find out where he is, he'll be begging for the Dementors once we're done with him." Harry said icily. The girls shuddered because the raw fury in his voice was hard to ignore.

"Let's change the subject." Tracey replied.

"Right. So Lavender." Lyra said calmly.

"I'm going to grant her an interview like she wants and after that we will see." Harry replied calmly.

The girls frowned, "How… how far will you go with her." Tracey wondered. Harry already showed himself to be quite the horndog.

Harry smirked, "We'll see. However, I should really get going. There's no telling if somebody alerted a prefect to what you did, and I don't really want to get on Snape's bad side." Harry chuckled before leaving.

The girls let him go but they looked at each other nervously wondering what would happen next.

(Scene Skip)

Lavender Brown couldn't believe it. She got to interview Harry and it would put her name on the map for the future, but just as incredible was the request he made, 'I want to see you in the dress from that photo you know the one.'

"Thank god I brought it" Lavender blushes as she made her way from the owlery after owling her mother for advice for her upcoming interview and thinking about the very dress Harry was talking about. When his 11thbirthday came around her mother suggested she send him a photo so he could put a face to a name. Lavender considered it but decided against it simply sending a letter as she had for a very long time. When his 12th came around it was a different story because Lavender went from a low B to a middle C over the past year and she now possessed curves she was sure he'd appreciate if the gazes from others her age was any indication. She went to her mother for advice, and they went out and got a pink spaghetti strap dress that showed off her breasts in all their glory with a skirt that went to her knees and had purple flowers. When she sent the photo to him along with her yearly letter of support she couldn't remember a more nervous time since there was always a response from Harry.

The letter finally arrived a week later, and his response was everything she could've asked for and more, 'You look absolutely amazing Lavender. That dress suits you marvelously and I think you should wear things like that as much as possible. Thanks for the support and I'll see you at Hogwarts in a year.

That letter started her love of that type of outfit and while she kept her massive bust hidden underneath blouses these days, it was hard to dismiss her breasts in casual clothes. To her horror, the drab robes of Hogwarts ruined that but there was nothing she could do.

Arriving back at the dorm, Lavender was all ready to focus on the bit of homework she got when she was met by an unpleasant voice, "So. Are you actually going to interview that traitor Lavender." Ron Weasley said angrily.

Lavender rolled his eyes, "This again Ron. You sound like a jaded ex-girlfriend." Lavender replied and the people watching couldn't hide their amusement. He constantly complained about Harry being in Slytherin and most of the dorm just dismissed it at this point.

"Damn she got you Ron." A brunette smiled.

"Quiet Katie. I'm trying to stop her from talking to the enemy." Ron said angrily.

Lavender twitched, "Weren't you the one who said you were trying to save him from 'those dirty snakes' and then lost us 100 points the minute you got sorted into this house." Lavender retorted causing a few shocked gasps..

"You mean that's why we lost 100 points the minute he got sorted." Katie gasped.

"Yep. He tried to come up to Harry and say that one of the girls he was with was evil because she's a Malfoy and tried to act all buddy buddy with him. Clearly it didn't work, because Ron went flying into her brother of all people knocking them both into the Great Lake. The two were arguing the whole time up and when McGonagall saw them she asked what was going on. He said that and McGonagall was livid. She took 100 points from whatever house he was sorted into and gave him a month of detention. Speaking of which, shouldn't you be headed to that soon" Lavender smiled causing everyone to laugh.

"I'll be fine but you're not going to that interview and that's that." Ron scowled.

Lavender rolled her eyes, "Last time I checked you have no power over me Ronald. Now go cry to that Harry Potter poster you have in your room and bugger off" Lavender scoffed as she walked towards the girl's dorm just for Ron to block her way.

"We're not done Lavender." Ron said angrily.

"Move Ronald." Lavender said firmly.

"No." Ron insisted.

"In that case." Lavender sighed before swiftly kicking Ron in the balls causing him to whimper to the ground.

"Damn" Katie smiled and so did most of the people watching, even if the guys winced at the sight of Ron being kicked there.

"Sorry but he wasn't moving. When he inevitably tries to complain to his brother. Make sure to tell my side because I don't want to be near him longer than I have to. Honestly kind of want to take a shower to get the grease from him off my foot" Lavender groaned before walking into the dorm.

"We got ya Lav." Katie smiled and nobody in Gryffindor had any sympathy for Ron. When the incident was ultimately relayed to his brother Percy went to McGonagall and asked her thoughts. Their head of house gave him another week's detention and took another 100 points. Lavender got nothing because she was simply defending herself. As for Ron, he was late for his detention that day which earned him an extra week and another 50 points off. Ron Weasley's time in Gryffindor was off to a very bad start.

Notes:• Daphne's little chat with Harry is meant to introduce people to the real Harry Potter and his personality is that of a puppet master. Every action is calculated and unlike the disgustingly naïve Harry from the books, this one knows what he's doing and then some. Daphne is aware of this personality. Lyra and Tracey are not.

• Ron is going to have a very bad time and in many ways he's the 'Draco' of most stories. The jilted character who is antagonistic for no good reason other than he was rejected.

• Snape was the way he was in class because he didn't want to risk Harry's family finding out. Remember that Sirius is alive and has a lot of pull and with the Potter's back, there was no guarantee Dumbledore can defend him so if he's his usual charming self, he might find himself out of a job.

• The people who knew that the Potter's were alive is as followed

a. Minerva McGonagall

b. Filius Flitwick

c. Sienna Brown

d. Amelia Bones

e. King Ragnok

f. The Tonks family
