Shen Li hadn't slept for very long, during such blissful moments, she should have been sleeping soundly.
Perhaps it was because she was too happy, that she felt somewhat restless in her dreams.

Her soft call received no response, and the darkness that met her eyes deepened her unease.

The maid's gentle voice broke the silence, and the bedroom light turned on.
The dim, warm light didn't improve Shen Li's mood.

"Mr. Huo is still downstairs, would you like me to find him for you?" asked the maid in a gentle voice.
Shen Li got out of bed, unconsciously bringing her hand to her forehead, "Yes, I want to go to him."
The maid promptly brought slippers and a coat.
As Shen Li dressed and headed out, she couldn't help but ask, "Is he busy?"
Would she be disturbing him?
The maid shook her head, indicating she didn't know.
