While Xiao Mo was feeding Stupid, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a pair of boots, to be precise, a pair of retro-style women's leather boots, stained with snow and dirt.
She slowly stood up, and just as she had guessed, it was the so-called Witch Jenny.
"Good morning, madam!" Jenny greeted Xiao Mo with a bow.
"I don't recall agreeing to meet you!" Xiao Mo said indifferently.
Jenny's gaze lingered on Stupid, and she said sympathetically, "What a poor little one, if the mistress of your house weren't so heartless, you wouldn't have suffered such misfortune."
Xiao Mo's expression changed immediately, "What do you mean?"
"I know how to deal with that black cat!"
Jenny revealed the secret with one sentence. Xiao Mo didn't want to believe her at first, but after looking at Stupid, she hesitated for a moment, "Okay, if you have a way to drive away that black cat, I'll let you stay and become my assistant as you wish."
